we will be arriving to the airport around 5:30pm. I don't know how long it takes to get from there to the resorts. We will be staying at the new Orleans riverside. I was wanting to do a counter service meal instead of a full blown dinner. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks:)

After you check in to POR you could take the boat from there to DTD and eat at Earl of Sandwich. We like the food and it is on the dining plan. :) There is also Wolfgang Puck's Express at DTD that excepts the dining plan. There is a food court at POR but we have never had dinner at it so I can't tell you what they serve.

I am sure others will have suggestions too. If it was us we would take the boat over and hit Earl of Sandwich :) Then you can always get desserts at Ghirardelli's. :goodvibes

It will take about 1 - 1.5 hours from when you land to getting into your room. By the time you get luggage, car?, etc. Then it's about 30 minutes drive to the Resort, which may be a little longer at rush hour and ME may have other stops as well.

Someone else just snuck in my dinner idea....I too was going to say Earl of Sandwich. And DTD is a nice way to stretch out the legs after a plane ride.

Enjoy!

above are spot on and the boat ride is pretty good. We were at POFQ this past summer and the boats are much more interesting than the buses.
