I've never eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table...should I reserve it or not? I'm going during free dining so cost is not an issue...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If it's something you always wanted to do, then eat there. I've seen good and bad reviews. Personal taste.

For us, we are not into princesses and I'd rather use my 2 TS credits for 2 TS meals instead, even with FD. I guess what you also need to figure out is if it's better to use 2 of your credits or pay OOP. All the meals are less than the $60 or so value of an Adult TS under the DP.

Enjoy the restaurants that appeal to you. That's the great thing we're going to do during FD. Try restaurants that we'd never had the chance to do, and relax more this time.

I booked CRT on a slight whim today. I've always wanted to eat in the Castle, but never saw it as a priority because a) price, b) we're not that into character meals. However, I'm trying my darndest to go to restaurants I've never been to and a meal that expensive needs to be done on the dining plan. I say if you can get it (since ADRs are hard to come by there), then it's meant to be.

We finally decided to eat in the castle for our last trip. DD was 9 and not into princesses but she and I really just wanted to eat in the castle. We had breakfast and thought it was very good. It was mine and DH's anniversary and we got a signed card from all the princesses. Anyway, I was really glad we did it that one time but it's not a must do again.

We've done both breakfast and dinner at CRT.

If meeting the Princesses is not an issue, then I recommend dinner (only the fairy godmother and mice are there for dinner). We were surprised how good the food was for dinner!

Breakfast was nice, I just don't think eggs are worth 2TS :rotfl:

CRT is a one in a lifetime experience...that we have done twice. We prefered breakfast over lunch, but GREATLY prefered PSB (lunch) to CRT! It was only 1 credit vs CRT's 2 credits and Ariel (dd's fav princess) was at PSB (not that characters can be guaranteed, but she is never at CRT that I have ever read).

CRT is a family tradition...we do CRT at an early dinner time...we Pay for it with Disney dining plan and LOVE IT!

Been to CRT EVERY Visit that it was offered...please try it this time.....

The experience of eating dinner in the castle was great but we found the food and service lacking. As we had no kids the characters ignored us and the prime rib was more like prime fat and gristle. The experience is great but the food at the other 2TS credit places we have found to be so much better.

at CRT again last week. The DIS crowd seems to be a breakfast or diner crowd. Lunch fits our dining and touring plans and has princesses.

My wife and I had discussed this being our last visit for a few trips since we have been the last three now. On the drive home she mentioned possibly going again on the next trip.

Ariel is now appearing there which surprised me. She was at our lunch and another poster mentioned that she was at their meal in April.

It is a bit expensive, but I guess we have determined it's worth the money since we have been three times.

We have done lunch and breakfast at CRT. We preferred breakfast over lunch, but both were good experiences. Even DS enjoyed it. He loves the sword they gave him at breakfast. The atmosphere in unbeatable.

I booked CRT for 840pm for our trip next week. Normally we don't eat that late, but we will be returning to MK for a Pirate's League appt at 530pm....after resting for the afternoon.
Question.....can you see he fireworks while eating inside the castle? We haven't ever eaten here because my sons are "anti-princess" anything....I am doing something for me this trip :) If not, no biggie because will be doing two days at MK...thanks!

through the windows at CRT. It's a bit hard to see at breakfast or lunch because of the lighting contrast between the darker dining room and the bright sun outside. I was looking at the castle prior to our meal there and could plainly see the diners seated in the window.

The problem you will run into is that many of the fireworks are overhead of the castle. Some are set further back but may be hard to see depending on the elevation.

We also went there for Breakfast in May and it was everyone's favorite breakfast, which says a lot because I have two boys!! We loved it so much, I have booked it again for early October!!
