I'm looking for your suggestions for a TS breakfast (no buffets/no characters) at one of the Disney resorts. It will be for me, my DH and 18 month old son.

Thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions. Kona Cafe and WCC were on my short list so I guess I was headed in the right direction. I think I'm leaning towards WCC.

I like the Galley Restaurant at the BC/YC resort.. they do have a buffet but you can also order ala carte......quiet, good service and always a good meal.

Have not been there, but consider the Grand Floridian Cafe.

I have been to the the Cafe, it is was a great breakfast. We'd definitely do that again. I was going to offer 1900 park fare, but you specified no buffet. The thing is with 1900 park fare, you have many selections (none of them akin to chef mickey's) and you can also elect to have a chef make you a custom omelet. But if you do not care for buffets at all, the GF Cafe is nice.

Buffets...we do them for lunch or dinner. I find (for us) that a breakfast buffet is a waste of money. We just don't eat enough at breakfast to justify the cost. I like the idea of the all-you-care-to-eat skillet at WCC, it's only $11. But if we went to the Kona I could get a decent cup of coffee. Hawiian coffee is the best! We're been to the GF Cafe for lunch. Their french toast at breakfast sounds good.

Kona - great coffee and tonga toast make for a fantastic breakfast.

Hi

Yep, Kona. Just to say it is a buffet, but a cheap one - Trails End...best deal on property for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I can understand that. Disney costs enough without wasting money on something that you would use to full value.

I virtual high-five on the Pats from me as well :woohoo:

I gotta say, without a doubt, it needs to be The Kona Cafe, and you need to order yourself some Tonga Toast while you are!!!:goodvibes :thumbsup2

I haven't been to Kona for breakfast yet (hope to do that next trip!) so my vote is for the skillet at WCC. We have really enjoyed it and the atmosphere is much more low key for breakfast than the other meals there!

Every trip we do Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast our first morning. It is marvelous. :goodvibes
The Maple French Toast is a must. The atmosphere makes for a perfect start to your day.

This past weekend we stayed at the Polynesian and did Kona for breakfast and that is an excellent choice as well. The Tonga toast is great if you like bananas.

And if you go before the Concourse Steakhouse is closed, they do a decent breakfast as well. All your "traditional" breakfast fare. Best grits I've had at Disney.

Kona Cafe is my vote...we scheduled ourselves for 2 trips there next vacation because of the Tonga Toast. :thumbsup2
