Suggestions for AP purchase

I want to buy an Ap and use it for my free parking, but if I have to pay to park in order to buy my ticket that doesn't help. I seen where I can buy my AP and pick up at the call window, but once again I would hve to pay to park to get to the will call window-Correct? Shipping to Canada was $17, so I might as well pay to park. Any suggestions from the experts. Thanks.

It seems like they should be able to validate your parking ticket or give a voucher or something.

When i bought my pass, I just went ahead and coughed up for parking.

At Disneyworld though, I was able to take the parking pass I paid for the day I bought my AP to Guest Services and they gave me my 7 dollars back. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this at Universal also, but I'm not too sure.

Has anyone tried asking not to pay for parking?

I realize US is set up differently, but at Disney they let me in free with just the voucher, and the same at Six Flags Great Adventure. Six Flags will let you in with no parking charge if you are picking up or dropping off someone.

Wish I was, but not this trip. We have 14 going and I am paying for the rooms and Universal rooms are not in the budget.

Ah yes, I remember that now. Why don't you give the annual pass office a call and ask them how you can buy your pass without paying for parking.

Thanks damo. I am still toying with the idea of getting 3 rooms. We have been so spoiled with FOTL that I don't know how to do a park without it.
