We will be celebrating our aniversary again this year at DW. We had hoped to eat at Le Cellier but not able to get reservation that day. Any other suggestions? We have 4 kids 8,7,5, and 3. Thought about Mexico but haven't heard the best reviews. Thanks in advance.

We loved the San Angel Inn when we went. Not sure how the kids would like it, it was just me and DH. The atmosphere was very romantic and the food was very good. Most people make the mistake and think it is tex - mex, it is not. More authentic mexican food is served there.
Might be a good place, the ride before dinner is cute and fun. It isn't thrilling but cute none the less.
Personally I would look at the menu and see if everyone would be satisfied food wise and then if so go for it.
If I would've listened to the reviews here I would've passed on a very nice place and evening with my DH.

I would go to Tutto Italia! We love the atmosphere and food and they have great choices for kids! I think it is an easy place to please the kids yet have a nice relaxed sit down meal!:thumbsup2

How about California Grill or Narcoossee's around the fireworks? Both restaurants will have the music piped in and both restaurants have a romantic feel.

I would definitely go for California Grill. It's a fabulous dining experience, yet they are really kid friendly for having upscale, amazing food.
Plus, it's the best view of any restaurant in Disney!
The service is always outstanding, and they will surely make your anniversary special, just be sure to mention it when you book!

We had reservations for our anniversay for Le Ceiller. After much thought I changed the reservations to Tutto Ittalia....my DDS ages 18 aned 14 are not big meat eaters. I was very happy I diid. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. What kid doesn't like pasta!! I would certainly consider Tutto Italia. :hippie:

I would have suggested Spoodles but it now Koozina I have seen pic on line might want to try there as there is a open kitchen and pizza for them. also they sometimes have entertainment within the restaurant.
Also you might try for a night out alone maybe a in room sitter or the Neverland Club but that depends on where you are staying I believe all the Deluxe Resorts offer this service. It might be worth it for a meal alone:lovestruc
I would go for Cali Grill or Flying Fish if you go this route.
As long as you are together is what is important. :cloud9:
Happy Anniversary..:goodvibes

We are celebrating our anniversary on the 19th and we are eating at Ohana for Breakfast and then Boma for dinner. We thought it would be fun for the kids to have dinner and then check out AKL after. They are only 2 and 4 so buffets are usually better for us as we can get in and out fairly quickly. Ive heard great things about Jiko at AKL as well.

I like Chefs De France myself. The service is a bit more--not upscale, but nicer setting for the anniversary flare. If you are looking for EPCOT.

If not, hmmmm....not sure! I like most everyone else's suggestions.

How about Coral Reef? It's a romantic place and maybe you can get a seat near the tank. We try to have 1 family date night with the kids when we're at WDW and I was thinking Coral Reef. My girls will be 6, 3 and 2 when we go next year and they would love to watch the fish when we're eating.

I would suggest possibly Teppan Edo...I know it isn't as private but it is really fun and the kids probably would enjoy it. Also Yachtman Steakhouse is really yummy as well if that appeals to you all!

We are going at the end of the month during our 10th anniversary, with our dds 8,6,and 2. We wanted to go to Chefs de France for our anniversary dinner, but we couldn't get ressies for the actual night, so we are going the night before. The actual night of our anniversary we will have been turned into pirates during the afternoon, (yes, all of us) eating dinner at Ohana's and then going to MNSSHP. It'll be tough to match that on our 20th. :rotfl::laughing:

We have 2 children, ages 14 and 10. When they were younger they liked the Italian restaurant in EPCOT, which is now Tutto Italia. We have been to Tutto Italia and they still liked it.

They also like Chefs de France. For a nice Anniversary dinner, this would be my choice. The food is very good and the service is good as well. Even though it is a more upscale atmosphere, it is still very kid friendly.

On our trip last year, we went to Citricos at the Grand Floridian and our kids loved it so much it is the one place we will be returning to on our trip this December. They were a bit older than your kids at the time, however.

I think I'd steer clear of the Mexican restaurant. Our kids liked the chips and salsa they put on the table, but that's about it. Personally, I found my appetizer to be way too spicy for my tastes, and I usually like spicy food! DH isn't a big fan of this restaurant either. The atmosphere is nice, but that's about it.

DH and I had dinner at Jiko 2 years ago without the kids. It was very, very good and we enjoyed it a lot. I know our kids grabbed the leftovers we brought back to the room and had them gone in a flash, but otherwise I can't comment on how kid friendly it is.

Have a Happy Anniversary! ::MinnieMo
