Suggestions for a trip: 3 days family of 4, young children...

I'm trying to help a friend of mine plan a quick Disney getaway for her family which includes 2 children ages 4 and 6. We're DVC members so I've never had to research other places to stay, ticket prices, etc.

They're looking at driving to Orlando from Marco Island for a Disney stay April 1 - 3. Any suggestions for reasonable accomodations nearby and the best way to buy their tickets for 2-days, going to MK only?

Thanks for any tips...I'm doing research online as well but wanted to know if anyone has any good ideas as well.

I know mapleleaftickets.com sells 2 day passes - I don't know if it is worthwhile when you pay the postage though.

The Disney value resorts - especially Pop Century or All Star Movies are great.
