In full scale detailed planning now ;)

Any recommendations for eating on our last night ? We'll be at the Poly, will already have eaten at Ohana & Chef Mickey's, there'll be me, DH, DD1 (7) and DD2 (almost 3). I'd like somewhere I feel comfortable with the girls running round, character or not, hotel or park ?

Thanks :D

Hi,

How about California Grill in the Contemporary Resort? You could request a table by the window and enjoy the magnificent views over the seven seas lagoon and towards MK - It would be great for your last night. It always seems to have a lively atmosphere and is great for kids, there is nice food for kids like hot dogs, pizza etc. and a varied main menu as well. You could easilt take the monorail from the Polynesian over here in a whizz.

Richard :)

How about 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian a goodbye dinner with Cinderella ? :D

I'd always fancied the California Grill but thought it would be a bit posh with 2 young chidren lol ! Never heard it described as lively before :D

We're doing the Mary Poppins breakfast at GF for DD1's birthday - if the food is anything as good for the dinners that would be a good choice (especially with a princess-mad DD !!):D

Must check out the menus :Pinkbounc

Hi Tracey,

You could always try the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. We normally eat here at least once per visit for either breakfast, lunch or dinner and have had some great meals. It's pretty good value dining I think, and a very relaxed atmosphere too. They also have some wonderful desserts :D

I just booked 1900 Park Fare for me and DH (no little princess yet :D ) We ate here for the Villians dinner in 2000 and the food was great.

Have you visited (or planned to visit) AKL? If not, I think it's worth a visit to see the resort and you could have a meal at the same time. Our family really enjoyed the buffet at Boma's and then spent a while wandering around the resort and grounds.
