My little (21) sis and I will be heading to WL Dec. 17-23. We've always talked about taking a "girls only" Disney trip and she'll be studying abroad in January and DH and I are "thinking" about presenting our parents with their first grandchild some time in the near future, so it seemed like a now or never time to go.

We have plans to spend some serious time at the spa at GF, go see La Nubia, lots of shopping at Epcot and DTD. What other suggestions? We're going to be back in July for my parents 30th anniversary so lots of park time really isn't that important. I know we'll want to spend some time exploring WL as neither of us has stayed there before. I was thinking a character dinner at 1900 Park Fare would be fun. (I really want to change our ressie to GF but I happen to know that my sister's DB is planning on proposing there after their college graduation next summer so I don't want to take any of the wind out of his sails. GF is Brooke's dream hotel - she used to call it the "wedding cake hotel" when we were little and stayed at the Poly. I have had such a hard time keeping my mouth shut! )

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!:D

definitely do the spa thing! it's incredible :) also afternoon tea at the GF is supposed to be great, we're going for the first time in a couple weeks!

The character dinner at park fare is Cinderella's Gala Feast and you have Cindy, prince, godmother and mice there. it's fun and the food is GREAT!

if i can think of anything else i'll be back! LOL i know there are tons of other great things i just am having a brain freeze moment here.

leighe....we just returned from a "girls only" trip and it was fantastic!!!!

GeekChic gave you some great suggestions!
Sleeping in and ordering room service, going to Jellyrolls together, taking a MK or Epcot tour....

even though you don't want to do parks, we just did an e-night one evening and it was so much FUN!!!!

Other than that, we ventured into a park to just eat! LOL!;)

I'm like GeekChic, it's late and my brain is frozen, too!

Sure others will add to the list, too!

We did a girls only trip recently and stayed at OKW, which was great -- quiet, big 2-bedroom, quick to DTD. If I were you, I would consider the DTD resorts or the Epcot resorts -- don't forget Swan and Dolphin, they have good rates for that area. We had a great time shopping, relaxing poolside, having wonderful meals. We also enjoyed our tour of the Monorail resorts checking out lobbies, shopping and having a drink in the beautiful lounges. and don't forget to schedule a night (or two) at Jellyrolls!

I would be sure to do the afternoon tea at GF. It is so enjoyable. We took my mom there for her birthday and everyone enjoyed it. There were a few sister-daughter-aunt-niece groups there. One evening we saw about 5 ladies all deck out in there big elaborate hats. Not everyone dresses up, most don't, but some do and it looks like fun.
I hope you and your sister have a great time.

When I was MUCH younger, like your age, friends and I turned Epcot into a bar crawl. We got viking hats in Norway and "drank like vikings".

Don't know if that's up your alley, but I thought I'd share it!
