I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so excited. Just confirmed we are going to Disney NEXT WEEK!!!! This will be my first time during the Christmas season and I am very excited. I was wanting to know what everyone's best value meal was. Best food for the best price, just curious....you can also include if you have found a great meal at a great price that may not be something easily found or known on property.

Can you give a spending limit? Because personally, I think the California Grill provides EXCELLENT value for the dollar. But I can easily spend $50 or $60 just for me there, which isn't usually what people are looking for when they want "good value" suggestions.

I've always loved the fish & chips window at EPCOT. Get some, take it over to the garden and hope that great british band is playing!

At Animal Kingdom, I can't do without a visit to Harambe's Tusker House. Great food, good price. Also like the Flame Tree BBQ.

MGM I go a little more pricey, cause I absolutely adore Prime Time 50's Diner.

Anywhere I go, I love to grab a turkey leg to munch on while walking through the park. Sometimes, that's the best food to be found at MK! (Although I hear the sandwiches at the Plaza are fantastic... gonna give that a try this time). I also love grabbing a hot dog and fries at Casey's Corner while waiting for the parade!

Although I have not been there in a while, the Trails End buffet in FW is a fabulous value. Very good food, nice country atmosphere and very inexpensive (this is a good value even if it were NOT on Disney property IMHO).

We also enjoyed the food and value at Tusker House - did the meal deal, got an entree and drink for now and then picked up a bottled drink and ice cream later in the day. I had roasted chicken which I liked. I did not care for the green beans.

If you are going to do an "expensive" meal we loved Shulas. We spent the same there for dinner and dessert that we spend at Cal Grill for appetizers and dinner, but enjoyed our food much more at Shulas.

At the Studios we ate at the Commissary - love the fish and chips. Good portions and great food. The Cuban Sandwich was also good but a bit light on the meat for our family's tastes.

My big surprise was Liberty Tree for the character dinner. I though the food was outstanding, and so did the kids. We all ate very well and dinner for 4 adults and 2 kids was $120 with tip. It is all you care to eat of what you love, and we loved lots of it. Their gravy is better than I can make, and better than jars or mixes I've found.

Why don't you just visit DEB'S SITE and check out all the menus and find the answer to your question yourself!

For cheap good eats, DH and I did Electric Umbrella at EPCOT for breakfast and the Intermission Food Court at the Allstar Music Resort, we did all 3 meals there on different days.

On the higher end we did Teppanyaki for lunch and San Angel Inn for dinner at EPCOT, Hollywood Brown Derby for dinner at MGM, and Jiko for dinner in the AKL

On the average end we did Wolfgang Puck's Cafe in Downtown Disney westside, RFC in the AK for breakfast, BOMA in the AKL for dinner (twice!! ), Crystal Palace for breakfast in the MK, and the Grand Floridian Cafe in the GF. Now when I say average, that's by Disney standards.

We dined at other places too, but these stand out right now. Just look over the menus, I'm sure that will help with a lot of your questions.

When we went a few months ago, I was very pleasantly surprised at the cost of lunch at Teppenyaki. It was about $33, including tax and tip for two, which considering how yummy the food was (shrimp and steak), an excellent buy.

I agree Teppanyaki is a good buy for lunch. The food is great, and the atmosphere is fun. Plus, it's a great place to sit down and relax for awhile and enjoy some good food!

Don't know where you are staying, but try the food court at your hotel. We enjoyed the food court at the CBR. The refillable mug made this place a bargain to eat at, since we didn't have to pay for drinks. (Well, we did have to buy the mug!)
