Suggestion for Pin Trading

I do not know if anyone from VMK reads this boards but the big complaint about pin trading is people keep crashing.

So rather than having two hosts trading in different room why not have them both trading in one room. They will be able to trade with the same number of people but the wait time in a room will be less.

A little while ago I waited in a cue for VMK Babs by the time I got there she was done trading. Now VMK Phinny has a room! So why can't VMK Phinny go into the room where VMK Babs is and continue from there? That way the people that have been waiting will get a chance?

They are using CL rooms anyway so it isn't like they each are having a trade room.

Anything to help with the frustration of waiting only to crash or be told, sorry you just missed it.

I got the Lion pin yesterday, so I'm not needing another, but I saw Babs was open, so I figured I would give it a try and get one to give away. I got all the way to third in line and crashed. lol. I'm going to try again with Phinny now. I'm not as frustrated today about it. But I would like to get the pin so I could pass it on to someone else.

Also Disney could pitch in to make the servers not crash a lot and make the servers full clocked.

MY DSD was thrid and crashed. She is trying to get in and has 14 more people to go. I hope she makes it. So close and then crash. Between than and the grates today she is not a happy camper.

Edit: She got to second and crashed again. Sigh! I am giving her one of my pins to make up for it but they really need a better way to do this.

I actually made it!!! I was so excited I could hardly type to talk to Phinny.

I got a Lion pin!!! I got one yesterday as a gift, so I did the only right thing to do and tried to give it away to another Dis member who kept crashing. She wouldn't accept it for free though, but we traded and she has it now. I feel so much better now being able to pass the pin on to someone else!!

No I don't think it is

When I was there she put a gate over the door and said she had to go judge. She did tell those outside the gate that after she cleared those in line if she had time she would trade with a few more. With it being almost top of the hour though, I would guess she has stopped.


I will try with the other staff and see if I can get more Lion pins. It feels so great getting to Staff. lol. If I do, I will GIVE it to you, Lisa, for your SD.
Now that I have the Lion myself, I want to help others get it also.

had that happen before, so it was reflex to say, "Don't cut". I should have

I would never cut in line, the way people were moving I felt like I had to move up and then if the person in front of me (you was there and not afk) I wanted to leave room. A strict code of ethics would never let me do such a thing LOL!

When I saw it was you I laughed and then you noticed me about the same time.

The thing that I think is so funny is we do not have to cram in that line. The room only allows 15 people in it so it we are a few inches away it will not make a bit of difference in how fast we trade. I always think that reasoning seperated the kiddies from the adults. Anyone in the back complaining that someone needs to move I always think is too young to reason it out.

I WAS thinking happy thoughts and I was able to get a Lion pin which I promptly traded for a Submarine for my much frustrated DSD.

Last week I gave VMK Phinny 5 Zebra pins. She was in her room and said she needed some. I offered and the took me up on it. I bought a ton of them. That Karma came round today when I got a lion for me and a Lion to trade for Ashley.

Also, instead of just two staff doing the trades... since their is at least 17 staff(that I know of) and 9 "creators?" (Yavn, SillySyl, etc.) why not put more than just 2 staff for the whole event? I would say at least 5.

That way, more people could join in the fun!
