Suggestion for arrival dinner.

Chef Mickey's! It just has that essence of Disney magic with the characters, lots of food, and the monorail overhead.

We always do Kona Cafe at the Poly. It is a great restaurant and we always enjoy watching the fireworks too.

We are going to check in, get unpacked, rest a bit and then head off for the Poly where we are going to catch the early Luau.

Afterward we are going down to the beach and watch the EWP and see the MK fireworks before heading back to get a good night's rest for the following NINETEEN days of our trip.

I figure this will be a good way to start our vacation out since they are not having two parades at MK that first night.

We always plan something special for our first day and the last night and let the middle take care of itself. :thumbsup2

For me I have found it best to let Dh take DS down to the pool and get acquainted with our resort. WHile they are exploring I am unpacking and getting everything situated. We drive when we go and prefer to not get too adventerous our first night. I would suggest WC not too much traveling and the kids are sure to have fun and it is very affordable. DS loves his certifcate too!

Truly, gets this family in the mood for playing! Then go back swim some more and hopefully DS gets to bed for an early wake up!

Have fun planning its 1/2 the fun!
