We haven't been able to go out alone in WDW since 2007!! We ate at Ca Grill & enjoyed it but want somewhere new. Im a seafood girl & he loves steak but both of us like the other too if its awesome. Tell us what you think! TIA!

If you want something a little different I would go with Jiko. I love the flavors there and the dishes have always been a bit more on the creative side.

I'd suggest Narcossees or flying fish

Artist Point! Lots of seafood and meat options and usually quiet. Service is excellent! Salmon is incredible (and I hate salmon). Scallops are absolutely amazing! I hear the meat trio is really good. I had a pork belly bacon appetizer that melted in my mouth. Oh, man! I'm so hungry! We are trying to tear ourselves away from AP to try something new but every time has been a different but no less remarkable experience. Until they fail us we'll keep coming back.

Over the top - Victoria & Albert. Expensive. Requires a jacket for gentlemen. For what it costs to dine at CA Grill, the added marginal cost is worth the expense…..if you don't mind bringing fancy clothes on vacation.

Best Fish - BlueZoo. Some food preparations can be too over-the-top for some, but should be fun for 'Foodies'. Regardless, this place is our favorite for a number of reasons: a.) Tables are far apart in quiet dining room, b.) Best bread basket with Fennel butter, c.) Whole fish always available (deboned table-side if you like), d.) Raw oysters always available.

Next Tier:
Narcoossee's
Flying Fish
Artist's Point
Yachtsman
CA Grill

These last 5 all come with pluses & minuses.

Narcoossee's - food not 'Signature' enough for some people. But, we love lobster and make it affordable with Tables in Wonderland discount. Fireworks from here are best place that is not inside Magic Kingdom.

Flying Fish - sadly, no whole fish available. In our experience, there always seems to be more than the typical number of tired folks coming from the Parks. It just diminishes my dining pleasure when folks just look as if they are not enjoying the food because they are simply too tired. Just never had an impressive meal here, and we have tried repeatedly.

Artist's Point - after a disappointing experience at CA Grill, we'll be going here from Contemporary via boat. Reviews seems to stand out as always being positive. They have both seafood (cedar plank cooked salmon) and occasional game (i.e., venison)

Yachtsman - our well-versed waiter from Il Mulino also works here and recommended it to us. But alas, we've never been. We enjoy steaks at Shula's.

CA Grill - best view. But our food & service experiences since the renovations have us revisiting what it means to have a 'Signature' experience. We found the food less appealing and room noisier since seats were added. Therefore, CA Grill misses the mark for us at the price point that should come with better in every category.

Honorable mention: Four Seasons Hotel has recently opened and may be worth a look for someone looking for something new.
