I would probably recommend Earl of Sandwich, Raglan Road, or Wolfgang Puck's for downtown

For resorts try Citricos or The Wave, both are hidden gems in WDW!

Thanks for all of your replies. I was thinking Earl of Sandwich....is that a sit down? I would kind of like sit down since we are not going to have kids with us....but on the other hand, if we do counter service we might have more time for shopping.

Earl of Sandwich isn't a sit down, but they do have tables inside and outside. The line moves fast, so don't let a fairly long line discourage you.

I would try and get the latest breakfast reservation I could at Boma and have more of a brunch.
Of course I would want to get on the cruise boat ASAP so would head to port early.

We love GF Cafe. Best Cobb Salad on property in our opinion. If you liked you could then take the resort to visit the Contemporary and then hit Capt. cook's at the Poly for a dole Whip dessert. If you still wanted to see Downtown Disney you could still get some shopping down in the afternoon there. Although we like DTD it's really just a shopping venue and has very little charm. Our favorite place for lunch there is Wolfgang Puck Express ( a counter service restaurant).

I recently had an early dinner at House of Blues in DTD and enjoyed if very much. Also had lunch at Kona Cafe and it was very good too.

I vote for Wolf Gang Puck Express, too.

It's kind of a mix between a TS/CS; it's not considered a TS, but there's still some small service included. The food is FANTASTIC!!!!!! It was one of our fav meals of the trip last year.

Earl Of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. It's the only restaurant we've ever eaten at twice in the same trip! SO good!
