Wow, you start late. my college starts later than the high schools in the chicago area and I have been in school for 3 days already (4 if you count move-in day). Did you classes get postponed due to the hurricane or was this already your start time? If it was already your start time then lucky you

Chapter 5- Welcome Home!​

July 25th, 2011

Hello everyone!!! I'm back! We got back on Tuesday, pretty late. We had a magical time, and this trip was full of tons of surprises and loads of pixie dust! I can't wait to share it with you! By now you probably know that Jess and our friend Nat showed up and surprised me! I honestly had NO idea at all that they were coming! It was brilliant. Best surprise EVER. We all had a fantastic time and I can't wait to tell you all about our adventures! But for now, the trip report at hand...

When I left off last we were about to enter our home for the next week. I was very excited about this because I knew that the rooms had been refurbished really recently! I couldn't wait to see it! And I'm sure you all cna't either so here are some pics! I made Mike and Dave wait at the door while I took pictures, before they invaded.

Once we were all settled in, it was time for the best moment of this whole darn update! What is it? It's a frump, it's my hero, it's...

She is obviously making the It's-Way-Too-Early-For-This Deer Face.

Once I was done disturbing Mike and Dave with my insane excitement, we decided to head to the bus stop to head to the general area of our dinner reservation a bit early. Along the way, I took a couple pics.

I love those things. I really want to do a carriage ride on one of these trips. They're so cute.

Once we got to the bus stop, a Magic Kingdom bus pulled right up! We got on and the Disney Bus Guy voice serenaded us along our journey.

Once again, WELCOME BACK! Gorgeous pictures of the rooms. The refurbishment really freshened them up. Even the paint outside on the buildings looks good! The carriage rides would be so romantic

Thanks! The refurbishments were great! Everything looked so nice and new! i would love to stay at POFQ with my husband someday. Hehe.​

I like the purple color scheme... it's very unique! It looks majestic. Your view is very pretty too! I like it a lot!
And YAYY FOR STACEY! (I still can't get used to spelling her name with an "e." It just doesn't feel right because I've spelled it wrong now for so many years...)
And YAY FOR US SURPRISING YOU! I can not wait to start that Trip Report!! I am going to keep updating the Mother Daughter one as long as I have time now.. because once classes get in full swing I won't have as much time. But then that's good because I can start the new one! Yay!

It is soo pretty! I love it. The new rooms are such an improvement and our view was lovely. I love all the courtyards.

I know I think it's so weird to spell it that way. I can't believe we've been spelling it wrong for so long!

I know!!! Mine won't be started for quite a while I don't think. But I'm glad yours is starting soon so we won't have like the same thing going at the same time haha.

Haha I won't tell you so everyone is surprised.

I don't know if i said this in your TR or one of jess's TR's but celebration magazine just had a whole article about stacey a couple of issues ago. Stacey is awesome! I feel like you must watch her whenever the TV is on in disney. It just wouldn't be disney with out her.

Also lol on mentioning mike and dave's reactions to you watching stacey.

Can't wait to hear where you are going to have your first disney meal, I'm guessing you are eating in the magic kingdom or a magic kingdom resort.

And yay for Stacey!! I've never actually watched her before but I know everyone loves her. My last trip I took was actually the first time I ever stayed on site so when I turned on the tv I thought it was just some boring lady...so I changed the channel! I'm so regretting not watching her show, and now I know better!

The rooms look gorgeous! I was looking into POFQ and didn't like the rooms but I like this new style, very nice Maybe I'll end up staying there next time I'm down in the world Then you get a nice view too

STACEY! She is seriously starting to grow on me. I don't know if it's you always talking about her or something else, but I do love her TV spot always a great start to my Disney vacation.

I've been spelling it 'Stacy' for the longest time.

Anyway, POFQ looks like an awesome resort! I gotta stay there someday.
