I've never done a laundry list like this before but I do enjoy reading other people's quick reviews so though I'd add my own. Hope maybe it helps someone! We were at Disney from 8/23 - 8/30 with a Free Dining bounce back. Stayed at POFQ for the third time and LOVED it once again! We did a few favorite restaurants, a few new ones. And overall we really had a lot of good meals!

'Ohana dinner - This was our first time trying it and by far our favorite meal of the week! I cancelled an ADR last year because I read some negative reviews and was afraid of the menu changes. But we decided to give it a shot this year and so glad we did. My only complaint was that the steak I got was a bit tough. But my husband said his was perfect. Everything else was delicious. Only regret was we didn't save more room for dessert. My husband's still talking about the bread pudding! Did feel a bit rushed through dinner but otherwise service was excellent.

Via Napoli lunch - Another new one for us. We each got an individual pizza of our choosing and dessert. I've had Disney pizza and was afraid this was going to be more of the same. (Our family is kind of pizza snobs, I'll admit!) This was SOOOO much better than any other pizza on property. We all devoured our meals and vowed to come back again! Don't know about any of the other dishes, but would come back just for the pizza.

ESPN Club dinner - With a DS15 who lives and breathes sports, we had to try it out. Unfortunately, they were in the middle of kitchen renovations and had a very limited menu. We did end up with a huge plate of nachos to share, a salad, and a sandwich. Even though very limited, the food was excellent. We'd like to try it again when they're back to their full menu! The place is amazing for a sports nut. Both boys were blown away by the TVs in the bathroom!

Teppan Edo dinner - This was a repeat. Food was still very good, but service was extremely slow. Took forever to get seated and then forever again for the chef to come out and start. And the exact same shtick as last time. Fun, really good food, but I think the polish has worn off a bit. I'd still recommend for someone who hasn't been before, but think we'll take a break.

Raglan Road late lunch - Another new one. We had a mid-afternoon lunch after the boys spent some time at Disney Quest. My beef stew was excellent. Others weren't as impressed with their meals. I read rave reviews about it all the time, but not sure it was a hit for us. Nothing bad, nothing horrible, but nothing great. Maybe it's more fun at dinner but just didn't fit into our schedule this time.

Yak & Yeti dinner - Another repeat and didn't disappoint at all! Service is excellent and food is delicious. My ribs were amazing! Would highly recommend and I know we'll be back!

Whispering Canyon dinner - Had done this a few years ago and really enjoyed it. This time maybe not so much. One DS and DH split the skillet dinner. They both liked parts of it, but other parts went untouched. Other DS and I enjoyed our steaks. Just not over the top. Antics are fun to watch. But teenage boys just aren't into them as much as when they were younger!

The Wave lunch - New for us and we LOVED it. Food was delicious, best burger I've had in a long time! Eldest DS had a BLT (with lobster!) and the amount of lobster meat on it was impressive. He devoured every bit! Atmosphere is nothing particularly special or themed greatly, but it was quiet, relaxing, and a nice break from the park. Definitely want to try dinner now!

BOG - Did both lunch and breakfast. Lunch was our third time and we still really enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special and I can't imagine doing it if not for the dining plan! But it was worth it to walk through the empty park, be the first ones into the restaurant, and get to ride the Mine Train!

Other QS included Columbia Harbor House, Flametree, Sunshine Seasons, and breakfasts at POFQ. We really enjoyed everything and have no complaints about any of the QS options we had.

Hope I remembered everything!

It's a shame that the ESPN menu is still clipped for renos, but it sounds like you all had some nice dining experiences overall. Thanks for sharing!

This sounds like a lot of the places we are trying in Nov. I am glad you enjoyed Ohana, like you I have thought about cancelling because of the negative reviews. I am excited about BOG lunch, and breakfast I am doing to get the PPO. We are on the dining plan too.

I am excited about Via Napoli I have heard excellent reviews. I am still trying to decide if I want to do Park Fare for dinner or the Wave.

We have done both Park Fare and The Wave and really enjoyed both.

We only did The Wave for lunch, but assume dinner is just as good. It's quiet, not themed at all, but very relaxing. Food is excellent and service was wonderful. It's more of a low-key atmosphere.

Park Fare dinner is a lot of fun. The Tremaines are absolutely hysterical--so much fun. The food is good, but it's buffet food. Maybe a little better than some other buffets, but still a buffet. But the characters can't be beat!

So you've really got both extremes! Can't go wrong with either, just depends on what type of meal you're looking for!

We go to Ohana every trip. And we go once a year. Ohana has never let us down. Always amazing food.

what else was ordered at The wave? its on a list to try, just not sure...

We just went for lunch, so I can't say anything about dinner. But the lunch was so good, we want to go back and try dinner next time.

My youngest DS and I both had burgers. They were delicious. I don't order burgers often, so when I get one I want it to be REALLY good and this was. I had cheddar cheese (real cheese, not that processed stuff!) and sauteed onions, son had cheese and candied bacon. Came with some sort of seasoned potato wedges that were tasty too. Oldest DS had the lobster sandwich--which was great. DH had some sort of vegetable curry stew that he loved as well. I forget all the desserts but I had one of their samplers which was 3 or 4 mini desserts, all tasty. And one DS had creme brulee.

Granted we've only been there for one lunch, but if that was any indication of what it's always like, I have no problem recommending it!
