Since I will be using ME for our October trip and we won't have our bags for a few hours, has anyone found a source for sunscreen and deodorant towelettes to put in carryon bags? I refuse to pay resort prices for things! :sad2:

They had the sunscreen toweletts at our local POOL supply house ( ABC pools) on sale the other day when we were picking up a few things.

How long is your plane ride? Maybe you could apply sunscreen and deodorant before you leave for the airport. That way you'll alteast have a litte on. And maybe hit a park with lot of indoor stuff, like Epcot, so you have the AC and won't sweat at much and you'll stay out of the sun.

good ideas :cool1:
I'd really like to see someone come up with a pack of various moist towelettes for travel. My son travels for a living and would rather just take a bag for carryon when it's a short trip. So far, some of the hotels have provided tooth paste and deodorant as well as the usual shampoo, lotion etc.
If this liquid ban continues, I know there would be a market for alternate forms of personal products.

Deodorant - B-Fresh 30 Count Box

If you want to feel and smell wonderful all day, then the B-Fresh deodorant towelettes are the simple and convenient way to experience freshness. These go-anywhere towelettes are just the answer to any odor and wetness issues. The clean and fresh fragrance will not compete with your cologne or perfume. The specially formulated deodorant towelettes are saturated with cooling, soothing, and calming ingredients that will give you the assurances that are needed for daily activities. The towelettes are handy for travel and will fit easily into a wallet, purse, gym bag, suitcase, briefcase, etc. Each towelette is packed in a heat sealed foil package in order to maintain quality and sanitation.

Directions: Remove the individual towelette from the sealed package. Unfold the mini towel and wipe under arms for complete benefit and confidence.

Contents: One box containing 30 individually sealed packets of B-Fresh Deodorant Towelettes.

You can do a web search for the best price - Here's one place I found...

Contact your local Avon Rep for products like: Bug Guard Towelettes with SPF, On Duty Deodorant wipes, Disney Princess Lip Balms, cleansing wipes, cream to powder foundation (in a compact), mineral makeup (available soon), and small sealed samples of foundation and/or eye creams. I provide items like these for my customers when they travel and I've only recently heard from one of my customers that was told to throw out her lip gloss and that was on the way back from her trip.

Thought I'd share a tip that DH and I used on our trip last month..

Pack a smaller, carry-on sized bag with all of the toiletries, medications, etc. that you'll want before hitting the parks. Check it, but do NOT put the Magical Express tags on that bag. Pick it up at baggage claim yourself before heading to the ME check-in, and you'll have everything you need! We did this with our sunscreen, DH's inhaler (he's asthmatic, but doesn't need to carry his inhaler 24/7 -- it's just good to have in case), bottled water, etc.

When we got to our resort, our room wasn't ready, so we just left our carry-ons with the baggage people so we could start our day ASAP! It worked out very well for us, and we didn't have to worry about finding towelettes of everything we'd need.

I sure hope they (everyone) applies deodorant before boarding the plane. :rotfl2:
