Same here. It was a REALLY hot day in the MK. I was watching the SADCT parade when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to fall flat on my face! They had to call the paramedics because I couldn't even stand up. I didn't have to go to a hospital, but I did have to spend several hours in the First Aid center. It was so embarrassing!

My stupid thing, is stupid.

While waiting for the Star and Cars parade at MGM, I did not want my treat to melt in my fanny pack, so I put it on the ground. Duh :rolleyes1

Soon after my DW got her Doctorate we were at EP when we saw Doc. We wanted to get DW’s picture taken with him since she had recently become a DR. We ran up very excited to see him saying Doc we want to get your picture with our new DR. We took many pictures all the while calling him Doc. Once we left we started to think, wait a minute, why is Doc out here by himself, none of the other dwarfs are out here? Then it finally dawned on us - That was Mr. Smee. Oh how embarrassing!

How about parking in the lot at your hotel (the Swan) and locking your door BUT NOT CLOSING IT!!!!!!!! Our room wasn't ready so we had everything in there. After four hours at Epcot, we came back and the door was still standing wide open and NOTHING was taken. I still haven't lived that one down in the past four years.

Stupidest thing I did, and I keep doing it over and over again everytime i'm there... Check-out of the resort! :sad2:

Was not buying DVC when we first became aware of it in 1992.

Park-hopping and paying for parking at each separate park. Didn't know you could pay once and park at any of the others, too. :confused3

During a September afternoon down pour we decided to make a run for the bus....
We were huddled just inside the Space Mountain overhang staying nice and dry, but the rain just didn't seem like it was ever going to end - so out we ran. Just then the wind picked up and the rain was going sideways - park maps etc. were flying everywhere - we dashed down Main Street and out to the bus while being pelted left and right by maps and UFO's.

Well we finally made to the bus station - which was lined up with busses who were staying put until the storm broke. Onto the bus we went - it was freezing cold and we were soaking wet... not a good combination!! The driver apologized but said he couldn't change it :confused3 (why I don't know)
but we sat there and froze for another 20 minutes until he could pull away. We didn't get too far - there is a overpass that the busses must pass under to exit the MK area - well it was terribly flooded - and none of the busses were permitted to pass through. We ended up having to walk to the Contemporary - Take the Monorail to Epcot - walk through Epcot (completely soaked) - to get back to Beach Club for a much needed hot shower.
Needless to say we won't be making that mistake again!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

 Stupidest (is this a word?) thing that I ever did was get in a tiff with DH and I walked away. Well he couldn't find me and I couldn't find my way out of the park. But I did stop for a nice lunch on my way out of the park. :confused3

We only brought one poncho between 3 of us one day at the parks.
It was summer, so a massive thunderstorm broke out all of a sudden and my mother was the only one clever enough to remember her poncho!
So there was three of us, all huddled under one poncho in the middle of all this rain. It was hilarious. We didn't find shelter, we just stood there and laughed at the moment. We could see some staff from the shops laughing at us too :rotfl2:

Our first trip was in 1992 and as rookies we failed to notice the long line to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Our 5 YO son ran up to one of them and we were lucky to escape with our lives.
I remember this now when others crowd to the front and hope that is ignorance, not poor manners.

I have to say the stupidiest thing I did was RAISE MY HAND AND GET PICKED

for Indiana Jones @ MGM! I had to sign a ton of papers releasing Disney of

any responsibility if I were to get hurt....then follow a CM to a TENT in back

of Indiana Jones and put on this ridiculous outfit. All the while my entire

family and friends are all in the audience screaming my name....ugh....very

embarassing. Watching the video my DH made afterwards, had me laughing

my face off.... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Having too much to drink at PI, getting totally blasted and having to ride the bus back to the hotel. Drinking makes me sleepy so for the entire ride I was in and out of sleep, head bobbing back and forth and all around. DH can explain it better 'cause he watched the whole thing. I was so embarassed when he told me about it. Glad he didn't videotape it.

This didn't happen to me but the last time we were at EPCOT we were exiting the monorail when the woman in front of us lost her sandal down that tiny space where the monorail meets the sidewalk. It was so bizarre! Good thing sandals are sold at MouseGears. :rotfl2:

I'm proud to say I have NEVER done anything stupid at Disney...... LOL!

My DH, however, has.

He got completely burnt to a crisp after a day with no sunscreen at Blizzard Beach, and a few days later while on the road to recovery, twisted his ankle by stepping sideways off a 3-inch curb on Main Street right before E-Ride night - had to run through the parks pushing him in a wheel chair the whole night and help him hobble on to rides..... :P

That's awesome!

Completely underestimating the wave pool at TL. DH and I were on our honeymoon and, although he is not a swimmer, I convinced him it would be fine, "the waves aren't that high."

I got completely knocked off my feet, didn't know which way was up, and I came up spitting out water. DH was fine as he is much taller than I am. I skinned my knee on the bottom while trying to find my way back to the surface!

The stupidest thing I did at Disney was not listening to my sister when it came to rain poncho's. Prior to our trip in August 05, my neice's gave me a travel kit of Disney stuff........including a rain poncho from the dollar store. I managed to remember to take it to Disney....in my suitcase where it stayed the entire trip.

One day we were in Epcot, eating dinner in Mexico when it started raining "a little bit". My sister, her husband and their 2 kids quickily put on their poncho's ......... within 15 minutes the heaven's opened.....I have never seen rain like it rained that day!!!!. I ended up taking a lunch counter tray, holding it over my head and running into the Mexico Pavallion.....to do what?.....buy a RAIN PONCO

:umbrella:!!!!!
