Stupid questions

I know these may sound stupid but I just bought my first pins (eeyore of course) on ebay and have some questions.
1) If you wear your pins in the park does it mean you are willing to trade?
2) How do you keep them from falling off your lanyards/hats/vests etc.
3) any suggestions on how to display them at home?
4) how do you get the super cool personalized pin trader logo in your sig?

Hi eeyorefanatic,

First of all, there are NO dumb questions, just dumb answers .

Just because you wear your pins in the parks it does not necessarily mean that you have to trade them. The only people who have to trade are Cast Members who are wearing lanyards or a vest. Some people like to wear "peacock lanyards" to show off their special pins. Some people wear 2 lanyards, one for trading and one for peacocking. Also keep in mind, that you can always say "No" if you do not like what the trader is offering, it is ALWAYS up to you.

As for keeping them on your lanyard, if you use the rubber pin backs you are less likely to lose any pins (but not guaranteed).

There are other people here that can help you with displaying them at home.

The Pin Trader logos are created by Brer-Rabbit (Sir Michael) mostly for members of the "Boa Brigade" a group of Traders who RUN IN FEAR when I am near!!!

I know that is a lame phrase but oh so true! That is exactly what these boards are here for.....to share ideas, thoughts, experiences.....so I will now answer those not so stupid questions!

No, not necessarily. Many people will wear pins on , say a hat, but have their traders on a lanyard. All you have to do, if approached by a fellow trader is say "These are my keepers, let me show you my traders" and pull out your binder or lanyard....where ever you keep them!

2) How do you keep them from falling off your lanyards/hats/vests etc.

The rubber backs seem to be the best way to hold them on, the metal backs tend to wear out after a time. Email me and I can tell you where to order rubber backs online.

3) any suggestions on how to display them at home?

There is a recent thread about displaying pins. I am not good at putting in links, but I think if you go back at most a page, you will find the thread with some awesome ideas!

4) how do you get the super cool personalized pin trader logo in your sig?

Those AWESOME logos are done by none other than Brer Rabbit aka Michael. He is a genius in my book! You can find him under members and email him. Email me if you can't locate how to contact him.
