Stupid Question

Hi everyone pardon my question. I'm filling out my planning kit and when it asks for number in bridal party does that just include the bride, groom bridesmaids, and groomsmen? Or can it include parents (since they're walking me down the aisle). And should I bother counting myself and DF? Thanks for the feedback.

I put the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer, and included myself and DF and made a little note (14 including bride and groom). I don't think the parents are "technically" in the bridal party even though they are walking down the aisle. We are doing the same as you and having our grandparents walk down too, but they aren't technically in the bridal party. BUT, I really don't think it matters in all honesty, that questionnaire isn't the end all/tell all, they just want an idea of how you envision your wedding, so I wouldn't stress about it. You could include everybody that is walking down the aisle and just make a little note like I did. HTH!

not stupid! it made me think: what's the difference between a bridal party and the wedding party? is bridal party just the girls? all i know is that filling out all that stuff just made me know how little i actually knew about weddings...

Amen! It's all these lil details that I hadn't even thought about. Like the songs, of course I know they played songs but now I have to decide which ones and when. They're making me do all the work what am I paying them for! LoL jk.

this is so funny - I was thinking the same thing last night when I was filling in the Planning Kit!

So...it's just BM's GM's and flower girl/ring bearer....? no moms dads etc?

I kinda had a hard time filling it out too. I just put undecided on several things and I wasn't really sure on some of the number questions so I just used my best guess. I'm not too worried about I know it will be discussed in further detail later on and hopefully by then I'll know more.
