I have automatic payment monthly for the annual dues. Would it be cheaper to change it to once-a-year payment?
Also, is the due the same for everyone? Or is it based on how many points you bought in? I have not even look at my monthly payment for so long I don't know what I'm paying now. :(

It's my understanding per my guide that if you pay your dues monthly via automatic debit from your checking account, there is no extra cost to it. Just a way to keep your money in your pocket longer throughout the year. :)

Dues are based on X dollars per point that you own. At BCV, for instance, it is around $4. So you would pay $4 times 200 if you owned 200 points. $4 times 150 points if you owned 150 points. HTH :)

Not only is there no charge but you can spread it out over the entire year. This allows you to better budget as well as get use of the money for part of the year.

The 1 advantage to charging the full amount in January is FF miles. For us we charge the $1800(dues) and get 1800 FF miles with Continental. But we pay it in full when the bill comes in Feb. or it would defeat the purpose to carry a balance and pay intrest.;)

That's exactly what we do. It puts us that many more (United) miles closer to our next BWV stay.
