Stupid question--BWV Check-in

At the risk of sounding like an idiot (too late?! LOL!), where do you check in for the BWV? The same place that you check in for the regular NON-DVC resort area?? Is the same true for the VWL (ie, in the main lodge)? I have never done a DVC trip before so I am pretty excited. Is EPCOT within walking distance from the BWV?

Yes, Boardwalk Inn and Villas share the same checkin desk (as do Wilderness Lodge and Villas). And yes, BWV is a very short walk to Epcot and a slightly longer walk to Disney-MGM Studios. You'll love it there!!

BWV check-in is the same place for all guests. Epcot is a leisurely 5 min stroll from the Boardwalk front desk. It is longer if you stop at ESPN Club for a beer.

We are staying the BWV this August. Just how much time does adding a beer stop add to the Epcot walk? This could be important information!

I usually add 5 min for the ESPN stop, because when you get to Epcot thru the International Gateway - Rose & Crown's is calling.....

You guys are all a hoot!! LOL!!! Although I have no cravings for beer, DH can't live without his MGD. LOL!!! So I guess we'll be making the stop at the ESPN Club too. Hope to see some of you out that way. Thanks again...you are all very helpful.

FYI - If you arrive before you are allowed to go to your room, be sure to take advantage of their bagage holding service. We usually arrive around noon, check in, leave our stuff with the bell service, and head straight to the parks.

The question isn't how long it takes to walk to Epcot, but how long it takes to get back home. DH loves to start with a beer stop at ESPN, and then does "Beers of the World" at Epcot. Makes for a FUN day!
