Trying to figure out if I should buy matching tshirts. It's myself Twin boys 13 & ds9. I don't think they will be interested in character tshirts. Was going to do matching colors. We all have Red Sox Tshirts... Anyone ever sport tshirts from there home city in WDW?!?! Just curious.....(never even thought if it until I saw a post here about families matching) :)

For the first time ever, my family did pseudo matching shirts for our December trip. We didn't want it to be too matchy so we took a different route. We each got a baseball tee with sleeves a different color. Then, we each picked out a different ride/attraction that is no longer there. We put a picture of the ride/attraction with "Take me to (name of attraction)" on top and then a little something below the picture about what is there instead:

My grandmother had a purple sleeved shirt that said "Take me to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!" Then, below that, it said, "Oh wait... guess I'll take my great-granddaughter on Winnie the Pooh instead!"

My grandfather had a black sleeved shirt that said, "Take me to Superstar Television." Then, below that it said, "Oh wait... am I too old to audition for American Idol?"

My father had a maroon sleeved shirt that said, "Take me to The Skyway!" Then, below that it said, "Oh wait... I guess I'm walking instead."

My mother had a pink shirt that said, "Take me to Cranium Command." Then, below that it said, "Oh wait... now there are just bats in the belfry."

My sister had a green shirt that said, "Take me to Snow White's Scary Adventures." Then, below that, "Oh wait... Now I get to meet them all at one time!"

My husband had a blue sleeved shirt that said, "Take me to Horizons!" Then, "Oh wait... Mars is the new horizon."

My shirt had yellow sleeves and said, "Take me to The Disney Stars and Motorcars parade!" Then, "Oh wait... well, cheers for the premier attraction. Curtain up and on with the show!"

My daughter's shirt had red sleeves and said, "Take me to Dreamfinder." Then, "Oh wait... I never even got to meet him."

So we did that and it wasn't overly matching, but it was clear that we were all together. We all did wear Aggie shirts, as well. That wasn't planned, though. We all just wear our Texas A&M gear a lot. We got a lot of "gig 'em" and Johnny Football comments from other Ags and other members of the SEC, which was pretty neat.

We've worn Red Sox gear there many times, be it hats or tshirts since we're fans and already own them.

There are a plethora of Boston Strong Tshirts out there right now - they'll match and for a great cause! :thumbsup2

I'm from Baltimore, and we all wore our football jerseys to Epcot on the Sunday we were there back in 2011. Everyone was super nice and we were surprised how many Baltimore fans there were.

Jenna!!!! That's awesome... I bet you guys got alot of attention from those shirts. I have zero creativity but those sound great. Thanks for sharing! Love it!

We have so many Red Sox/celtics/bruins & even BC shirts. I think it would be cool for us to wear it. Just never heard ppl doing it. You are right about all the Boston Strong shirts! I think that's even a better idea. :) thanks for the feedback! :)

We live near Baltimore, too. DS11 and I wore our Ravens Superbowl Champions t-shirts last month on one of our MK days.

People wear hometown sports team shirts all the time. And I think right now Bostonians are definitely going to being showing off their hometown pride.

After many trips to WDW, I did matching shirts for the first time last week. I made them through "uberprints.com" for my sister, myself and our friend. On the front was a mickey head with "Girls Weekend 2013", but on the back, they were different. Our friend (who just turned 50) said "I'm 50!", my sister's (whose bday is coming up) said "I'm almost 50!" and mine said "I'm not even close to 50!"

Well, I have to tell you, those shirts got us a TON of attention. People LOVED them, were stopping us to take pictures, etc., and it REALLY added to the magic for my sister, who was on her first "real" Disney trip. I'm soooo glad that we had the matching shirts, and we ended up buying matching shirts at Disney too.

YES, we are big LSU and Saints fans and we often wear fan gear when we travel. I'm sure we will have a few sets of matching shirts in WDW!

That's gotta be one of the best ideas I've heard!!!!! That's fantastic! Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks! I agree. I think this is what we will do. My boys will quicker wear a Boston tshirt than a disney one.

i always wear my Cardinals t-shirt the day i arrive and the day i leave the motherland....

and my MM St Louis cardinal disney pin on it.

Hubby always wears his Philly team shirts. Lots of people mention something from the game the previous night (did you see/know) ....it makes a nice conversation starter in lines. Empathy as well as pride.

Being from the north east I am always shocked at the large groups wearing D1 college stuff, right down to the kids hair bows! And LSU fans do seem to out number most of them.

I grew up in Alabama so I always give a "Roll Tide" to anyone I see wearing a UA shirt or hat...which is fairly often. I try to resist the urge to say it to those wearing Auburn apparel ;)

My husband wears a Texas Longhorn cap and a couple of Texas Longhorn tshirts most trips. He also wear a Dallas Cowboy tshirt and cap sometimes. Not me though.:rotfl::rotfl:

My two boys always wore Red Sox shirts to WDW because that made up around 80% of their summer wardrobe. :goodvibes

Thanks all! It certainly was not a major concern of mine. But, trip is 29 days & realize the twins outgrew almost all of there summer clothes from last yr except for some of there Boston stuff. Time to head to the mall, at least now I don't have to buy as many t's! :)
