Stupid Question about disney camera strap

I just bought a disney strap in WDW and can not figure out how to get it onto my camera. My camera only has a slot to slide a strap through and the strap only has a triangle shaped D hook. Am I missing something or just too tired from my trip to figure it out.

I have a NikonD3100 and the red mickey current strap from the parks

I wish I could help you, but yours is different from mine. I will tell you that they are completely uncomfortable and you wouldnt want to use it until after you take some 200grit sand paper to the laser cut sides of the strap.
