Stupid Kirby people......

I got suckered into a Kirby presentation once too....in 1995. I'm still using the vacuum cleaner.

Okay so one of the big selling points of the Kirby is all the other things that it can do, like leaf blowing. Does anybody use their vacuum to do these "extras"??

20 years and still using my kirby to vacuum and wash the carpets!!!!
That was 2 kids, at least 3 cats and country dirt living ago.
I did buy it before children.....I had a little bit more money then......

I remember someone at work talking about a vacuum salesman coming to their house about 5 years ago. I can only guess it was a Kirby. I remember him going on and on about it. He is divorced now so I wonder if his ex-wife kept it.

1982 a friend of ours was selling and we bought one (discount) That Kirby is still going. I love how clean my carpets stay.It is heavy, but that makes absolutely NO difference since it is propelled. My daughters have ent thru no less than four vaccumes costing over $100 in the past 5 years. Say what you want, I love my Kirby! Admittedly I couldn't afford one in these days and times.

I've had my Kirby for 16 years now. Love it! But hated the sales pitch.

I can't complain though, we blew up every other vacuum we had because of the amount of dog hair we had in the house. And mom only buys kennmores and she's gone through 5 or 6 of those since we bought the Kirby. She tried it once when she was between vacuums and dad loved it but about had a heart attack over the price, even though he can seem to justify the cost of buying multiple kennmores. :confused3
