Stupid Dining Plan Question

OK - I realize this must be dumb but some of the Disney policies are a little goofy (no pun intended) so I thought I should ask.

The Unofficial Guide says that Dining credits expire "on midnight of the day you check out". If I check out on 2/25 - am I able to use my last dining credits that morning or do they expire at midnight on 2/24?

If you check out on 2/25, your credits will continue to be good until midnight that night, which I guess would be technically 12:00 a.m. on 2/26.

Check out day is the last day of your dining credits....so you can use any / all of your creditsthe day you check out....up until 12:01am of of course the next day!

Maybe someone will change it to 11:59pm of the day you check out. That should simplify the problem (except for this week, when some of the park evening Extra Magic Hours will extend beyond midnight).
