Stuffed peppers.. Like them or hate them?

I love them. I have been making them a little different lately. I use 99% ground turkey. I cook a box of Zatarains Spanish rice according to pkg. I mix the ground turkey, cooked rice (cooled enough to handle), salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. I cut the peppers in 1/2 and stuff with mixture. I put some salsa and tomato sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan and top each pepper with a little sauce also. Cover with foil and bake until done. Then top with cheddar cheese and put back into the oven until melted.

To be honest, I've never tried one but I generally don't like anything with green bell peppers as the main flavor. It has to be hidden real well before I'll eat it!

I love stuffed peppers, and thanks for the ideas for variations. I picked up a tip from someone years ago to use minute rice instead of long grain to shorten the prep (can be added to meat/sauce mixture uncooked). I might have to make some soon.

I love stuffed peppers, but don't know how to make them. I think I'll ask my mom to make me some next week to bring home with us after our Orlando vacation.

I love stuffed peppers. I stuff them with ground beef and rice. My mom stuffs them with Italian bread, no meat and they are also good but I prefer meat. :) We both use bell peppers but next time I make them (not often) I want to try the frying peppers.
