For a family of 4 plus an infant which studio would you book? I remember reading that OKW has some of the biggest rooms, does that apply here?

Yes, OKW has very large studios and they have 2 Queen beds. I believe there would be ample room to set up a pack 'n play. I believe the other studios have a Queen bed and a double sofabed and the rooms are not as large. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.:)

Yes, I believe OKW has the largest studios. They are quite spacious with large bathrooms.

OKW has the largest of any type room I think....but particularly the studios and 1BR's....you will love all of that space to spread out! Have a great trip!! :thumbsup2

Yes, OKW are biggest with the two beds and no couch. The other thing to consider is transportation. We really liked OKW; however, you can only access the theme parks by bus, unless you are using your own transportation. And, when you get back to the theme park, it may be quite a walk outdoors. I remember staying at the Value resorts when my youngest used a stroller, and those bus rides back and long walks to the room were painful. Thus, the opposite route of OKW would be the smallest of DVC studio rooms, BLT, however, you could monorail to and from MK and Epcot without ever having to remove your children from a stroller. Just something to think about .... Or, Boardwalk or Beach Club gives you boat access to DHS and Epcot. There rooms are smaller than OKW but bigger than BLT. Good luck.

I'm not wild about the OKW studios because of the 2nd queen bed. I prefer fold out couches instead because they can make the room feel bigger when folded up.

I agree....we too prefer the bed with sofa for the room when the sofa bed is made up. Now the OKW 1 BR is huge and we love it.

Years ago when we stayed at OKW with my in-laws and gave them the master bdrm. The 6 of us stayed in the second bdrm, which would be the studio side. We were able to put the pack and play next to the window and bed. There was plenty of room. DH and I stayed in a studio at BWV this past October and liked it, but putting 5 in there would be a stretch. The room is bigger as well as the bathroom.

I believe the studio room sizes are:-

376 square feet OKW
366 square feet AK at Kidani Village
365 square feet BCV
359 square feet BWV
356 square feet WLV
355 square feet SSR
316-365 square feet AK at Jambo House
Sorry no size for BLT

Yes, the OKW studios are larger but we also look at the following when choosing a resort.

How long we are staying on site, how many of those days will we be in the parks and or relaxing around the resort pool and how quickly can we get from the resort to the parks, downtown or other resort restaurants, especially if relying on Disney transportation.

So for short stays and when each day is fully planned, the room size is the last of the reasons for us in choosing a larger size studio over a resort.

But when we're staying for a week or more and we're mainly there to relax around the resort then the room size with the little extra at OKW is a real benefit.

We also like the studios with 1 bed and the pull out sofa.....the most we have had in a studio was 4 people so I'm not sure what would be best for your group
