What is the advantage to staying at a studio over a standard room at say the Beach Club, Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom, or Wilderness Lodge? I see they are basically the same price.

In a studio you will have queen bed and a fold out double sleep sofa, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette will have a toaster, coffee maker, micro, small fridge, and a sink, as well as paper plates/bowls, cups, plastic cutlery etc.
Vs two queen beds and a possible day bed and no kitchenette.

Standard rooms at the BW or BC will usually have sleeping space for five. The studios will only have sleeping space for four.

It's just the 2 of us and I prefer the studio mainly for the sofa. We're older & mainly go to the parks in the morning, rest in the afternoon, and go again at night. It's nice to have a comfortable place to sit other than the bed or a dining chair. Now one regular room we had at BW had a very comfortable chair, but I'm short so the normal daybed is not a comfortable sit for me. Plus, if you are trying to save money on food, the microwave & toaster can help quite a bit, plus you can warm up leftovers.
