I have reservation for Mama Melrose one night of my trip, but have another night at the STudios planned. H&V looks pretty terrible, and on the dining plan Prime Time doesn't seem like a very good deal (plus the nagging... not fun for me, sorry :( )

But what else is there? Brown derby isn't regular dining plan-friendly, should we leave the park and go somewhere on the boardwalk? Seems like we'd lose a lot of park time. Any suggestions? I'd hate to have to do Mama twice in three days!

Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre is your only other TS choice I think unless you want to do a CS.

I LOVE Sci Fi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its so much fun, love the theme. The food is simple yet delish. I love their ribs!!! SO GOOD! :) Burgers & Shakes are tasty as well.

You could go over to the Boardwalk for dinner, or one of the hotels there. It's not that far, so you wouldn't lose as much time travelling as you would if you went, say, to DTD.

I am not that fond of the table service restaurants at DHS. My recommendation is to take the boat or walk (walking is faster) to the Boardwalk area and do Cape May or Kouzzina. Both are good. Maybe an early dinner so you could then get back to DHS for the night.

First off, PTC is the best deal on food in any park and more fun than a barrel of, well, you know. But taste is individual, ain't it?
PTC is the only TS at DHS I like, and I could easily do it twice in one trip, but there are too many places to eat to do that. On our other DHS day we are leaving the park a bit early, sailing to the Yacht Club and eating at Captain's Grille. It will be our first time there but the menu looks great. But since obviously our tastes are different, you should look at menus for Cape May, Kouzzina's, and other restaurants in the Epcot area. We do agree that BD at 2 credits just won't cut it.

I've tried 50's prime and honestly i wasnt a huge fan....antics were funny, but if you get a server that doesnt play the part its just a restaurant. I've seen servers in other sections that didnt play the part, and thats a huge disapointement if you went specifically for that. Food was disapointing here, I've had the fried chicken and it was SOOOOO VERY SALTY! Maybe it was an off day cause the table next to us said the same thing! I ate 1 1/2 pieces out of the 4. I couldnt eat the rest due to the salt. Yuck! (and yes, 4 pieces of chicken is a bit too much. The very most i could eat would be 3, lol).
I did feel a bit rushed as well. But overall i thought the antics were funny and the decore is awesome as well. PB&J shake is TO DIE FOR! As is the apple crumble dessert w/ icecream! OMG!! YUM!
