We were so in love with our room. I seriously did not want to leave my room for the next 2 days.

It was gorgeous and so spacious. I was in Heaven


After we got unpacked and settled in, we laid down and watched tv in our big comfy bed.

I don't know how we are every going to stay in a value again after experiencing this amazing hotel.

Ok, I'm going to have to go back and read what happened with the tub. But that is a REALLY GOOD UPGRADE!!!!!!! Don't you love it?? Now you know why we always spend too much money to get the 1 bedrooms! We can't go back now. It's too late.

Well we woke up this morning in nice comfy beds. We slept so good

We had adrs this morning with one of my besties and her hubby. You saw her earlier in the report, but her screen name is Leger13

Let me tell you SSR is Huge Just had to throw that out there

We took a bus to MK and then hopped resort monorail to the Polynesian.

Carla called us and asked if we were coming, as we underestimated how long it would take us to get there.

We were only ten minutes late, so not too bad


We were having breakfast at Kona Cafe. I was so excited to eat here

We found Carla and Chris in lobby and we all were seated together.

It was so fun to sit and chat with them. Trent was very well behaved since he loves breakfast.

I forget now what everyone had, but I had the Tonga Toast. My god, that stuff was awesome!!!!

We chatted and ate for awhile. Chris and Steve hit it off so nice, which was great for Carla and I

When it came time to pay, we had a little bit of an issue. We were on the dining plan, but had brough our new cards for SSR.

We were under the impression, that our dining and tickets were on the SSR Card, No one had told us different

Well we gave our card to waiter and he came back and said we didn't have the dining plan. I said yes, we do, please try again.

He came back again and was very rude and no sorry. You do not.

SO I explained to him that yes we did and to please get a manager. She was sweet as can be. We told her we had been staying at pop and got upgraded to SSR for a room issue. We had dining plan. She made a few phone calls and discovered, our dining plan and tickets left on pop card and our SSR card was only good for room entry.

Steve dug around in his wallet and he still had one of Pop card. We had packed away the pop cards for souvenirs.

The waiter took it and when he brough it back and it had gone through. He just threw it on our table.

Well we were pretty annoyed at his attitude. We decided to sit some more and just chat for 45 mins. He was loving that

We finally had had enough, or I should say Trent, as we were there almost 2 hrs, so we parted ways.

Carla and Chris were off to DTD and we are going to MK.

I bet you all thought I was going to say the Studios

We hugged goodbye, as that was last time we would see them that trip


Carla and I kicked ourselves later for not taking a picture of us at meal. Oh well


Off to MK we went. It was not very crowded at all, which was nice.

We hit Pirates, The Train and then we decided to ride Carousel of Progress

We love that ride. We love it so much, we got to stay on it longer as some idiot decided to exit while ride was in motion

Good times

After that we went and rode Goofy's Barnstormer and then off to Big Thunder Mountain.

It was Trent's first time on Big Thunder and he loved it

It was nearing our time for our reservations at 1900 Park Fare.

We hopped the resort monorail to Grand Floridian and checked in. We only had to wait about ten mins to be seated.

We checked out the Gingerbread House while we waited

Once in there, we were seated and buffet explained to us.

Well, we did not get any pictures. Why, you might ask?

Well, Trent was scared of all this charcaters and everytime one came near, he hid under the table

I would talk to the character for a minute and explain he was too shy and off they would go.

He would come back up after they left.

This happend about 5 times..

No more characters meals for us I guess

Despite this, the food was very good and service was great.

After dinner, we decided to go back to MK, as I think they had EMH.

We went and rode Big Thunder Mountain again as it was only ten min wait

Then we strolled around and Steve decided to leave and go back to the hotel. He had to go and get all the stuff "Santa" had bought packed away before Trent got back.

SO it was just Me and Trent for the evening. We went and got on Dumbo first... We got one with blue hat, which made Trent happy

After that we decided to go over to Tomorrowland.

We hopped on TTA. That ride is just so relaxing and I love it

Steve and I had talked about taking Trent on Space Mountain. He was tall enough, but we didnt like that fact that he had to sit by himself

Well I talked with Trent and told him he had to sit alone and it was in dark and he was totally cool with it.

So we waited in line and it was so long!!!

I asked him a few times.. Are you sure you want to ride? He kept saying yes.

First they wanted to sit him in front row with no one in front of him. I said no way. I want him behind someone. They were very nice and moved us into 2nd batch of cars. He sat in front of me.

Me like a dummy, forgot to take off my glasses before the take off, so with one hand, I squeezed my glasses and other hand I had on Trent's shoulder.

I know he was not going to fall out, but made me feel better

Trent said he loved it


After that, I asked him if he wanted to try astro orbiters. I had not been on that in over ten years.

He was game for it.

Try getting in that with your child and huge back pack....That was not fun

But overall, he had so much fun and said it way better than Dumbo

Well, park was about to close, so we made our way to front of the park to head back to SSR

Trent fell asleep on the bus and Steve and his brother came to meet us to walk us back to the room, as I was totally lost

Once back to the room, we put Trent in bed and Steve, myself, his brother and niece just hung out and chatted for awhile.

What a rude waiter. I do not like rude serve people, thankfully normally at Disney you normally get nice people serving you. I do not think I could be a cast member, constant smiling would break me down. But, come on, he was an ***, too bad Trent isn't older so you could sit there longer.

Great updates!!!! DS does not really like the princess face characters too much either. I'm still a little baffled by that but just go with it. Your DS is such a little dare devil on rides!! DS rode some new things this trip but still wouldn't go above the barnstormer as far as rollercoasters go. We're getting there. Just veeerrrrryyyy slowly.

What a rude waiter at Kona!!! That would have made me mad when he threw the card on the table. I think I would have had to speak to the manager again. On a better note......I'm jealous that you got to try the Tonga toast!! That's it!!! I'm making us breakfast ADR's there in June.

He rode SM??? Tell him he is braver than Miss Cole! I rode it at DL and didn't know it was in the dark... much like RNRC, Tom loved it and I hated it and when we got off I told him I hated him too.
