What size are the new pull down beds in the studios? Will my 5'10" teenage son be able to sleep there?..Thanks

It will not be the best fit in the world, but he may appreciate an individual, small bed vs sharing a pullout couch with a sibling.

I'm 5'10" and took a nap on it one day while resting in the studio and I slept fine. My DD4 slept on it the rest of the time.

My 13yr old DS slept on one for an entire week this summer. He was around 5'10ish and was just fine. DH even had a nap on it and he is 6'3 LOL

My 5`11" husband laid down on one and he thinks he could sleep there. However, I am only 5"4" and I know I couldn't sleep there as I move around too much.

My 14 year old slept on one our last trip and felt he was too long and doesn't want to sleep there again. To me there are suitable for children only.

DS 28 slept on one at WLV and the other at the Polynesian Villas this summer, didn't complain at all thought it was fine he is 5'11. He may have been happy just to be there tho.

I believe it is a standard twin size bed - My kids aren't quite that tall but found it quite comfortable!

I'm not tall, but for those interested in what they are like, I'm 5'6" 200 lbs. and did just fine. I liked it better than the pull out sofa and it was much easier to open, especially in the middle of the night. Usually, the people needing to sleep on them are those at the lower end of the totem pole and it beats the floor or not going to Disney at all, or like in may case where the hubby was snoring too loudly and it was my turn to move.

It is not a regular twin bed, it is more the size of a bunk bed. And in fact the MS website describes it as such.
1 pull-down bunk-size bed

I've slept on the one at VWL and it's definitely not a twin bed. As said above, it's more of a bunk size.

I'm 5'3" 130 lbs and it was very cozy and would sleep there again if DH or I are very restless.

The only thing to look out for is if you get up in the middle of the night, you need to be very careful as you can hit your head of the wooden frame above (sorry.....hard to explain). I did that once. From then on, I had to force myself to be careful.

I could see me doing that. Also it is pretty close to the floor compared the regular beds so some of older folks might have standing up.
