So ive got a stroller problem and maybe I can get help. My son just turned 3 in July and is very large for his age. 46" tall 65lbs. My wifes family is huge, 6'5" brother 7' uncle etc and it appears my son is following in their footsteps. That being said he is still a 3 year old and gets tired walking for long periods. He is physically to big for me to carry for long periods. He is very broad so most of the standard umbrella strollers are 13-14" wide and while he can cram into one that is 14" wide its just not comfortable.
Anyone else have this problem and what do you do? I really dont want to dish out $200 for a large jogger as its not something he will use much after disneyland. Is anyone aware of a wider umbrella stroller? 16 inches wide would probably be fine for him. Bigger would be better but we could get by with that.
Also, can anyone recommend some stroller rental places near Disneyland. I could see what they have available and their sizes. Most umbrellas are rated at 55 lbs or less but I think we could get away with that as our crappy one that he crams into holds his weight ok.
Thanks for any ideas.
