has any one ever had a stroller stolen inside wdw?

We have never had our's stolen, nor have the friends who borrowed it. However if you are worried, I would not take an expensive one. I recommend the Trendsport by Baby Trend. Its got all the bells and whistles you need to make it perfect for the trip and with a max price tag of $40, you wont worry about it everytime you leave it alone.

nope ... never had any issues. I hve heard of people putting bike locks on them so they can't be moved and marking them by hanging junk on them.

We have never had ours stolen...nor has anyone we know. All the people above gave great tips. Also...remember not to leave anything in your stroller that you would miss if it did get stolen. I carried a messanger bag around 2 weeks ago when were there for our money, camera, etc. and it worked great to hold everything and fit on all the rides easily. Have Fun!!!

Im sure it could happen so if we have to leave the strollers w/o someone watching them ( There are 4 adults going so chances are one of us will not to ride a certain ride) we will be taking everything with us. I happened to get a nice stroller at the best cost ( free) and a 20 dollar one. If one of those turn up missing im not out much.

We've always brought our nice strollers and never had a problem. One trip I had a garage sale Graco side by side double but all of our other trips I've had at least one nice stroller if not two. I've seen $700 - $900 strollers there parked in stroller parking without locks. On our last trip we had a stroller that was about $500 retail (though I bought a floor model for less) and had no problems. Of course as my husband loves to point out to me, the average WDW park go-er is not a "stroller enthusiast" like I am and likely has no idea that these high end strollers cost what they do. He pointed out that our Maclaren or our old Peg Perego would have been more likely to be a target than the Rock Star Baby stroller since those (Mac and Peg) are in stores everywhere with high price tags but the other brands are only in specialty stores. Anyway...I digress...I parked my Macs (2 different ones) and my Peg in stroller parking too with no hesitation.

Does stroller theft ever happen. Yes, unfortunately but most of the time it is "mistaken identity" and someone took yours b/c it looks similar to theirs and they weren't paying close attention. My best friend was a CM and I remember her saying that for every personal stroller reported stollen, at least 10 people reported their rental went missing. Almost like people are more likely to "borrow" the rental b/c they know Disney will give you another one to replace it. Sadly, stroller theft does happen BUT it is very rare. I think you are more likely to have stuff stollen out of the stroller than to have the stroller itself stollen.

I have a PEG and I didn't take it, I rented one and it was so much more convenient. When it rained, we just wiped it off, plenty of room for DD and I put my back pack under her legs.

Wonderful experience and we would rent one again!

I can see if you have and infant but otherwise, renting one is awesome and easy!

We just returned from a 7 day visit to Disney World and for the trip my son bought a new Maclauren stroller for his 22 month old daughter. We parked it outside (in the designated area) and went to ride Haunted Mansion and upon coming out it had been moved by the CMs and was gone. Someone took it and left their much older "Maclauren" stroller. Secuirty came but said they could do nothing. It was the low point on our Family Vacation and the security card told my son to take the one that was left. Their was a cell phone number on the used one and we have been calling it, but we get the message "temporarily out of service". I understand that Disney cannot take responsibility for this, but if you have CM's moving strollers around this is going to keep happening. We are all very disappointed in the way Disney handled the situation.
