Have a ? for those with little ones - what ages do you suggest bringing along a stroller for? My dd's will be 7, barely 6 & 3 when we go.. We will def. bring 1 stroller for our 3 y/o but do we need a 2nd for the other two to split time in??

TIA!

I don't think you will need a stroller for the older ones. My older DS started walking all over the parks without a stroller at age 5. You should be o.k. If you find after the first day that you need one, I would get one for the barely 6 year old. The older one should be fine.

Definitely bring a stroller for the 3 year old, especially if she still naps. (Your own stroller will be comfier if it reclines). You MAY want a double stroller for the older two some days, if they are small or get worn out. Play it by ear. You can rent one there if you need it.

Get a double stroller for the other kids. If they don't use it, you have a great way to carry all your stuff and it makes holding a spot for parade easier!

I had planned to get DS a stroller...he's 5 and 1/2. When hurricane Charley was coming and cut our 2 days in MK to 1, I decided a stroller just might slow us down. I figured I would rent one later if we needed it. Turns out, DS walked the whole day!! I am talking, we were at MK by 7:35am, stayed in the park the whole day and left after wishes. Granted, he fell asleep on the bus back to resort, but he didn't need a stroller. You know your kids and what kind of walking they are capable of doing.....play it by ear!! (IMHO, you might move thru the park easier and faster with only one stroller chugging along...but, again, JMHO).

Like your thinking! :) Thats what we are going to do too. And if my little guy needs it then I have it ready for him.

Part of it might depend on how much ground you plan to cover and at what pace. My DS and BIL got a double stroller for their 2 girls (4 and 7 YO). The older one seemed grateful for the rest it gave her little legs. (She's a petite one.) We covered a lot of ground at a pretty quick pace, so the double stroller turned out to be money well spent.

I would plan on or bring a stroller for 3 yo but with others play it by ear. My 5 yo did 4 intense Disney days with no stroller and it was fine. Just depends on your kids. To me, the fewer strollers the better.

I'm a great believer in using a stroller for as long as the kids fit in it. Their little legs get tired trying to keep up and cover a lot of ground and a stroller saves a lot of whining and meltdowns. I know people disagree on this but it saves us time and saves our nerves. BTW before a whole debate gets started on this my kids don't use a stroller anywhere but Disney and even though they are 7, 5 and 4 they're small and more the size of a 5, 4 and 3 year old.
