Hi guys! I was wondering what you guys use to ID your strollers. When we went in July I had totally forgot to get something that I wrapped DS's blanket around the handle every time we parked it to go on a ride. I'd like something different for our trip in 2 weeks, something a lot less easier for a thief to take off? :rolleyes1

I think I am going to use some of that curling ribbon. It is almost impossible to get a knot out of that stuff. you will have to cut it of when you get home.
It might not look pretty but I don't think it's coming off.

I don't think there is a lot of purposeful stroller stealing at WDW. I think it's usually more mistaken identity. I mean, would you pay for a ticket to WDW just to steal a stroller?

So, you just really need something that makes your stroller stand out as YOURS, not something that is hard to remove. Something bright and unique (in other words, don't use a Mickey balloon!) :thumbsup2

Each trip, we grab a yard of bright colored fabric on sale. We cut it into strips and then tie a strip (double knotted) to each piece of luggage, car seat, or stroller we are taking with us. It's easy to spot your black bag out of the sea of black bags at the airport. And it's easy to spot your stroller in the sea of strollers with a fabric swatch hanging from the handle area.

I pick up in the fabric department large pieces of blanket material, as ends, for about $3-$4 and if it gets lost or whatever it just doesn't matter as I have 3 or 4 in the room. I try to find the brightest colors I can and lay them over the top of the stroller so I know the orange sunshine one is mine.

My kids also love to use them as "blankies" in the stroller!

Feeling guilty about the lime green paint sample thing, I made my own 1 foot by 1 foot giant lime green mickey out of posterboard, wrote my handle on it and "do you Dis?" and tied it with ribbon to DD's stroller. Unmistakeably mine, and neat when other DISers said hi.

Now that's a great idea. :D

Do you have a picture???? :)

A colorful luggage tag works well - you can see it, and you can put your info on it (I just put our last name and DH's cell phone number).

I've seen big, colorful ones at Container Store and Target.

Here are some cute critter ones (nothing says "mine" like a cute green frog!)...

Even just a simple standard luggage tag in a bright pink or green will work!

I always mean to, but never do. You can kind of see it in the background here.

On our last trip, we had our double stroller with us. I bought a roll of ribbon that had baseballs all over it. It was a white background so it really stood out against our dark grey and red stroller. I wrapped it and tied it around each handle, stretching it across and leaving about a foot hanging from each handle. There was only about two feet left when I was done, so I just tied it from the middle of the stretched part. It didn't get in the way at all of pushing it and made it easy to pick out of the crowd. You would have to be pretty oblivious to have taken it and not realized it wasn't yours. :thumbsup2
