stroller for each child?

I agree. I am amazed not only that there is 'stroller parking' but that it takes up SO MUCH real estate around Disneyland.

:lmao: wow just wow- really? Stroller parking is essential..... and for designated areas is a must for a place like this- I am pretty sure Walt wanted parents to bring kids to DISNEYLAND!!! Too much real estate so we can park our strollers? :rotfl2: Let's just knock out Tom Sawyers Island and park the strollers over there and take the little ferry back and forth to the Land to ride so our strollers are not in your way.... Good Grief!

um sit and stand stroller.... or rent the double stroller at the park. Do what will work for your family- don't take what others say about strollers to personal. I also would not want to lug around a backpack. Or carry a child for half the day in heat or rain etc. I love storing all our crap under our stroller- I feel more prepared for those little ER ... without having to track my way to the front to a locker. If I was traveling with out children- I would not bring a stroller to lug my crap around- just saying. :thumbsup2
Disneyland doesn't rent double strollers.

We will use a City Mini Double stroller in January for our DD7 and DS3. Saving their legs on a long vacation (6 nights for us) means more energy savings and happier kids. It's worth the $80 to rent one if you don't own one.
I love our CitiMini double....we hauled it from CA to WDW last September.

I absolutely agree that if your kids, no matter what age need them, then of course, bring them. Mine won't at 9 & 7, but that's just my kids. If they need them, I would bring one. I just think it is entirely unnecessary and inconsiderate to bring one for your stuff, no matter what anyone else says.
You also think its inconsiderate to bring a side-by-side double.......:confused3

Yes I do think it's inconsiderate to bring a huge side by side double stroller and to bring a stroller with no kids to use it to haul your stuff. You truly think it's OK for everyone to bring a stroller because they don't want to carry their own stuff. That would be a commotion. I think the point got lost a little in this thread that the op wanted to know if she should bring a stroller for stuff. I don't think anyone would argue that if your child needs a stroller then you should bring one, just not to carry your water bottle and snacks.

Really? I never rented one from DL- just assumed they had doubles- hrm... well back to the drawing board hehe!!!

I think its none of your concern what people bring or need and why. Also they way I read the OP was asking if she should bring a stroller for her almost 6 year old knowing the child may not ride all day, but they could use it to put their stuff in it when the child wants to walk. And since they are planning on walking to the parks instead of taking the shuttle, I 100% agree having that 2nd stroller for the walk to/from the park (even if that's the only time the child uses it) is an excellent idea.

I personally don't care if someone brought a side by side stroller- I just feel sorry for them when they can't get through all the isles at the stores and managing it thru crowds and places to eat and trying to squeeze in/out of the turnstiles for the parks. But if thats what she wants to do- then do it! Who is anyone else to judge her for wanting to lay her crap on the seat that the older child didn't want to ride in for that moment? Maybe the child will ride later.... maybe for now she just wanted to walk... so all the stroller patrols out there follow these parents around to report stroller fraud or something.... :stir: :rolleyes1 Sometimes, honestly people just enjoy your own vacation and don't give a whoot about what others do on their vacations.... :thumbsup2

Once again. Noone is saying that if a person brings a stroller for their kids fine. I do think the doubles shouldn't be in stores, etc, but that's not this post. The post is should you bring a stroller for your stuff. The answer is no. Don't be so inconsiderate and maybe try reading before you reply.
Done.

I thought I read somewhere a tip to bring a stroller for each child, that way, even if a child doesn't use it, you can still use the stroller for holding your lunch pack, waters, and anything needed in the park without always carrying it.

Our girls will be almost 3 and almost 6 when we go to DL. We may possibly walk instead of take a shuttle to and from hotel to DL (little over a mile).

Should we bring a little umbrella stroller for each, per the above idea, or would that just be more of a hassle?
(I'm also thinking of hauling around the airport, along with carseats, and in and out of the car on other parts of our trip.)

I did read the post- she says bring the extra stroller in case the child doesn't use it. Does not say she wont use it at all- the 6 year old might like to sit in it for parades etc. I agree with 3Minnies1Mickey.... and we are not being inconsiderate- how do you figure that? :surfweb:

yall prolly scarred the OP off and doesn't even want to go to DL anymore... shame on you stroller haters! :disrocks:

We didn't bring a stroller for my 6 year old in march and I ended up carrying the 2 year old back so I could push a SLEEPING 6 year old in the stroller the 2 nights we stayed past 8 PM. Next time, I will be bringing our Britax B-ready so that she'll have a seat BUT I won't be pushing a huge double around if she's ok walking. We can use that second seat as needed since it's just "there" and not in the way.
