Stroller for at least 50 lbs. plus?

We just bought a Britax Blink and love it! It's a dream to push, has a nice basket underneath, folds & unfolds easily, is lightweight but doesn't tip over if you put a bag on the handles.

It's weight limit is 55" and from what I've read of the reviews, it's seatback & canopy are higher than the Macs so it should hold your DD for quite some time.

We got it online for $75 with shipping from albeebaby.

My DD just turned 3 on X-mas and she is 42 inches tall and 38 lbs. She's a tall girl! I'd still like to have a stroller to use for another year or so. We can't put her in her Graco stroller anymore because the weight is 35 max for that one. We have a jogger that holds up to 50 lbs., but after using it yesterday at the mall, it's a little clumsy to use.

Anyone have any good suggestions for a nice stroller that holds at least 50 lbs? I looked online and see that Safety Lite makes a nice looking one for around $150.

:thumbsup2 we bought the ICOO pluto umbrella stroller.... OMG, the best stroller i have ever pushed or laid my eyes on. We bought it when my DS(6) was 5 and he was getting bigger, and older. He is 52 lbs now and 50 in tall. We only use at WDW. I only wish i had found it when he was a tiny tot. It will hold up to 75+, hope im not telling you wrong:confused:. You should check it out. They are wonderful!!! hope this helps

Another Volo-user here! I bought ours to replace a worn-out Combi (which I also loved) when my youngest was just over 3. It's made 4 trips to Disney now and while the basket doesn't hold a ton, it's enough for us. I'm not the type to carry a lot in the parks anyway. Love how it folds up easily and compactly and is easy to get on and off the buses and trams if we choose to drive to the parks. If you think you might want a Volo, watch Target in the next couple of weeks - I got mine for $70 in the end-of-year clearance in January 2 years ago.

It holds up to 75 pds and is under 200 dollars. The seat is higher than most strollers so it is easier to get kids in and out and at Disney we wheeled it up to the tables like a chair-also more room for long legs.It folds up like an umbrella, steers great and does not tip over easily when you hang alot of stuff off it.They sell them at babies r us.I spent alot of time trying to find one I like-with my dd I had 5 strollers and I didn't want to have to keep buying ones for my ds.We had the big one when he was born to put the car seat in but after that I got the Aprica to take to disney when he was 8 months and it is all I use now.The canopy is pretty good too and the material is easy to clean and it is cushy(I didn't think the maclarens seemed that comfy)My dd(9) sat in it a few times too and I could steer it with no problem. They were a company that was from Japan but was bought by Graco a few years ago but I had a Graco stroller and the quality is much better.

I bought that one at Babies R Us last summer and it was AWFUL. First off it doesn't completely sit upright. My DD complained about not being able sit up. And it was a little too tight of a fit for her and she is skinny. It says 75lb weight, but she was 52lbs at the time and I had a hard time pushing it. It was not smooth at all. And her head hit the canopy, so we couldn;t even use that. I took it back after two days of trying it out.
I ended up getting the Maclaren Quest, which is a little more sturdy than the Volo. It has a 55lb limit, but from what I have heard, kids much bigger fit into it. It pushes so much smoother. We love it. We don't need it for a lot of things, but when we do, it's nice to have something that works so well. The seat is soft material and very cushy.
My only regret with this one is that I didn't buy it several years ago when I had thought about it. Instead I bought a cheap $40 one that lasted for 3 trips, but I only used them on those trips and last trip I struggled to push it.

Another Mac Volo fan here ~ it's been DD's Disney stroller for several years. She's fairly petite but at 7 years old this past Nov. at DLR she sat in it no problem *we had long days ~ park hours were 8am - midnight so she started in the morning without it but once we returned to the parks after our afternoon break/nap she strolled.

Just purchased this Maclaren Triumph today. Only drawback is this is the only color for the price. Also, added the universal organizer at the bottom all for less than $140. My son is also 3.5 and is about 43 inches tall and 43 pounds. We needed a stroller with this kind of latching system due to him figuring out how to just push the button to release all of the harness straps (hit the button and took off across a mall parking lot one time).
