Our son has several disorders that does not allow him to walk much. We are looking at double strollers to rent to assist him so that he does need to walk all day or potentially cause other problems. For those who have used them, do you think a 47-48 inch child will fit in the Bob Revolution Flex Duallie? We are just trying to figure out the best option.

Thank you all for your help!

Traveling with family last year we have a pic of DS and boy cousin (both 7 and 8, and tall/huge for their ages) sitting in a Dual Bob Jogger past out asleep on the way back to the hotel. No problem pushing it either. My sis rented it from a service locally for the little ones that were already back at the hotel asleep. Anyway, I would check out a double jogger. Then there's room for items ride next to your son - coats, toys, snacks, etc. We lovingly called that stroller the "pack horse"!! Better it than us! LOL Hope that helps. :)

Oh, should've given a height indicator - DS was 47.5 inches last summer in said stroller above.

Thank you so much! That does help. So the Bob stroller I mentioned is a Bob double jogger so it may be the same one. He may not be comfortable, but if he fits it is better than walking and causing problems. Thank you so much!

Yes! Sorry, I'm not really familiar with the Bob names. It was probably the same thing- the double jogger. Yes, not a comfy ride, for sure. But no complaints when they don't want to walk anymore! LOL

We have a Bob Duallie, and my son is 45" and daughter is 48". They both fit well enough that it's doable. However - if they have a double Chariot, I would check that out. We bring the Chariot over our Duallie to DL because it has way more useful space and is more comfortable for the taller kids.

You could check out City Stroller Rentals! They have a stroller they rent for kids with special needs that is supposed to help with kids that also that are bigger & taller ie. kids older than 7. Here's a link: https://citystrollerrentals.checkfront.site/inventory/advance-mobility-liberty
Good luck! We have rented double strollers from them before & they are great! They will deliver & pick up your stroller rental after your done at your hotel. :)

Last year my 5 year old son was 119cm (not sure in inches sorry- he was tall enough for Indy tho!) and was in a double stroller we hired. He wasn’t too big for it at all. We will be hiring the same stroller for our next trip (he will be six and he’s already 123cm). Our days will be long and there will be many (we are getting a 10 day pass) so even if he is a little too big to fit it will nice for him to rest his legs.

My sister used a Bob and they were quite easy to steer. We use a Joovy jogger for my grandson. We got it because it was large enough he could nap in it and while he wasn't quite 3, he was already 40". I wanted one he wouldn't outgrow quickly (he is a big kid). When we wanted to entice him to get in, we'd let his 6yo sister (51" or 129cm) get in then he'd want her out. She actually fit very easily.

But my actual answer was more about your child. Since he has several disorders, stop by City Hall or Chamber of Commerce and get the sticker for the stroller so you can take it in lines as needed.
