We have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old. I know my 6yr is not going to be able to walk all day, so he will need a stroller. Would it be more practical to bring 2 stroller, which we have, or buy a new double stroller? Bringing our 2 strollers is cheaper but I'm affraid 2 strollers will be a hassel on the busses, at resteraunts etc. But I hate to buy a double stroller just for disney. He's 6! He doesnt go in a stroller on a regular basis, but he needs one for disney. What do you all think?

Well bringing two strollers may be more hassle on busses but unless your child/ren are sleeping you won't be allowed to bring them into the restaurants at WDW.

Another option, if your 6yr old isn't too big, is renting a double jogging stroller from www.abbf.com I believe the combined weight limit is 100lbs. Or you could bring one stroller for your 2yr old, and rent as needed from Disney. Just a thought.

What are the two strollers that you have are they just umbrella strollers, if so you may want to look in to those stroller connectors you can get them for around 15 dollars. All4fun is right you will not be allowed to bring your stroller in to the restaurants unless they are sleeping and some you may not even be able to do that if there isn't enough room.

I have brought 2 strollers before and if you go when its crowded its a lot easier to maneuver around then a giant double! My DH and I each have a stroller. Also in regards to buses, its a lot easier for each of us to hold onto an umbrella stroller than my DH to carry and fold a double. We have a Maclaren Triumph for my oldest (4.5) and that can accommodate up to 50lbs.

Yes, you will have to park your stroller outside of all the restaurants on property.

You might think about renting one from wdw for him. We do this for our son who is 5 mainly because he is to big for the strollers that they sell and the ones at wdw are pretty big. They also have a double stroller. The only problem is that I heard they raised the cost on the strollers.

What about getting something like this for your 6 year old? We are comntemplating it for our 3 year old for our upcoming trip. He has been to DW several times now and NEVER likes to sit in the stroller, we figure this will be a good place for him to rest when he needs it.....

I had bought one of these when my younger was about an year old and I was travelling alone with him and 5 yr old going through airports. I thought I could attach it and then with him standing on it with the younger one in the stroller, it would be fine. After I got it, I realized that unless you are tall ( I am 5'4) or have long arms, it will not work out. THe whole thing kind of juts out from the back of the stroller, and I kept on hitting my shin on the extension...so used it only once and that was it...my .02

could you just bring one stroller and maybe let the kids share the time they are in them ? if the little one is asleep and the 6yr old is tired you could stop for an unplanned ice cream treat ( thinking mickey ears bars MMMMMMM ) ok anyways just maybe easier to keep up with 1 stroller then 2 .You could always rent one if need be. .. if there is an easier way to do something I will brainstorm to find it. :) have a great trip!

I have a regular stroller for my youngest, 2, its pretty bulky when we fold it up. We also have a umbrella stroller for our oldest,6. I still dont know what to do...I would just bring 2 umbrella stollers but I love having the space in the bottom of our regular stroller to store stuff like the diaper bag, food, shopping bags etc. I'll have to think about it. Thanks every1

I have a 5 and 6 year old and we usually rent the double. It's great because they can get in and out by themselves, and it's easy to drive. Also I don't have to hear....my feet hurt...a million times, and I can walk at my own pace and not have to tear them away from every shop, character, or interesting thing, they HAVE to stop and look at. The price is outrageous and horrible, and a total ripoff. I could buy two umbrella strollers with that money, but the girls are just to big..so I bite the bullet and pay the 30.00.
