Just a recap for the day...

The doctor's appointment went reaaly well. My liver function tests are much better, and my cholesterol has dropped again. His only concern is that I not lose more than 1 pound a week. The fat is metabolized through the liver, and I need to be careful not to stress my liver. I do like his scale though. Fully clothed 202.2 I am not going by it because I weigh myself regularly on my own scale. We'll see what what it says in the morning.

I managed to get everything done today. Meals were as planned. I have steak marinating for dinner tomorrow. I did 2 weight circuits and 30 minutes on the glider. I am really happy with that because I am so sore from the fall. I did a ton of stretching.


I am dreading this weekend. Friday I work 12AM-12PM. Saturday and Sunday are 7PM-7AM. I hate doubling back.

I am off to bed after a hot shower.

Hi Beth - I'm glad to hear your doctor visit went well and that you are feeling better after your fall. Congratulations on getting in a workout - it shows your commitment as it would have been very easy to just say you were sore and would wait until tomorrow but you didn't! :cool1: Your work schedule this weekend sounds exhausting! Be sure and get as much rest as you can and take good care of yourself. :goodvibes

I sorry you had a fall on the stairs - my worst nightmare (recurring). My spill happened at a time I shouldn't have remembered it (I was 2). I do hope you are feeling better soon.

Wishing you a very happy birthday - may this year hold more joy and promise than the last!

Congrats on the doc's scale being so supportive. Usually doctor's scales have a conspiracy to make you "gain" weight.

Hi Beth,

I'm glad to hear that your doctor's appointment went well. I'm so sorry to hear about you falling down the stairs. Are you okay? Still sore, bruised? I have fallen down stairs many times, but can you believe that I have fallen up stairs? When I was in high school, I tripped up the stairs. Had a nasty bruise for weeks and gave my fellow cheerleaders something to laugh about. :teeth:

I hope that you are feeling better soon. I also hope that work goes by quickly for you. My DH got a new job this week and works 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday. I'm sending lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to help you get through the weekend.

I weighed in on my scale. 202. I lost 2.5 pounds. Most of it due to the Whoosh Fairy, but I'll take it.
Plan for the day...
Katie goes to preschool and I head to the Y for cardio.
Finish folding laundry.
Pick up the house, so my family has something to destroy this weekend while I work.
Nap.
Work.

Meal Plan for the next 24 hours....
B: Scrambled eggs and tea.
L: Salad.
D: Steak, broccoli, and salad.
10PM: Cappacino.
2AM: Salad and sf jello.
7AM: MS bar.

I will probably drink 5l of water in that time period.

I will do as many journals as I can today, but it will probably be Mon or Tues before I get through them. I am sending :goodvibes: to all.

Hi Beth - Glad to hear your doctors appt went well. Isn't it weird when a doctor tells you to slow down on your weight loss :earboy2: I can understand how too rapid weight loss can be bad for your body. Sometimes I get worried if I loss too much in one week.... and then I'm over it :rolleyes:

Enjoy your day while Katie is in school. Isn't that why we clean our houses... so our families can have fun trashing them :earseek:

Beth, Congrats on that Good MD visit! Liver function is what they watch so closely on me. It sounds like you are doing great. I hope those aches and pains start to fade today. Your poor body. You are right - those "I had a great workout" aches are much more fun to experience! ::yes::

Sending :wizard: for peaceful shifts this weekend. There isn't much of a break between your first and second shift. I hope you can rest during those 7 hours.

I fell on some wooden steps a few years back - ended up with 7 cracked ribs! :earseek: I hope you are feeling 100% very soon!!! :goodvibes Believe or not, you have inspired me to pick up my house - it's all DS's toys, and lately I just haven't felt like picking them up, only to have him take them out and scatter them around the house again... ;) But, perhaps I could count it as exercise! :teeth:

Hi All,

Sorry I never made it to journals on Friday. I just got busy and never made it back to the computer.

The weekend is going ok. Annoying patients, short staffed, and I am tired. My usual weekend.I did 60 minutes og cardio on Friday, and nothing since. I have been completely OP, and I feel like the bloat fairy is finally leaving. I hate TOM.

Plan for tomorrow...
I need to stop at the health food store on my way home from work.
Hit the Y for 30 minutes of cardio.
Pick up the house AGAIN!
Start getting ready for the exterminator for Wednesday.
Hmm....I suppose sleeep should be in there somewhere?

Meal plan....
B: Scrambled eggs.
L: Salad.
D: Steak, salad, and green beans.

That is the plan. I never know if it will stick on Mondays because I am so tired. I am hoping that it will since it is in writing.

You are such a busy woman! I love your comment about picking up the house again - I said the same thing to my husband this weekend. Every time I turn around I am cleaning this house! Then he smiles and says - Imagine if we have kids. Humph! :rotfl: I'll show him! :)

I think your plan sounds good and I am glad the bloat fairy is on her way out the door!

Hi guys,

Well, I am not sleeping. Katie didn't get to bed until about 11pm, so she will nap this afternoon. I have gone to the health food store. I had planned on going to the Y, but my mp3 player is in the other car. si I did the 3 mile WATP tape and 20 minutes of ab work. I hate ab work, but I really need to be religious about it now. I fell off program this morning. I had 3 dunkin Donut munchkins. I was starving, and they were available. The amazing thing was that I didn't eat more. I have also had a cappucino. Other than that, I will stay to the plan.

I will do as many journals as my sleeping today allows. I'm off to shower.
