String's Atkin's Journal (Please Comment)

Hi Beth -

Just want to wish you and your family a VERY Merry Christmas and the best to you in 2005.

Merry Christmas Beth! May you have a day filled with love and laughter and a blessed New Year ahead. Enjoy your day at your mom's house.

Tracy

Hi Beth,

I'm so glad to hear your liver report was favorable. And you haven't done a lot of damage with the junk-- good for you :) I hope your Christmas was wonderful :)

Hi Everyine,

It is good to be back! Christmas was wonderful. Santa was extremely generous. In fact, it looks like a toy store threw up in our house. Won actually did well in choosing a present for me this year. He got me a digital picture frame. It scrolls through all our pictures and he programmed music as well.

I di fall into old patterns of eating. My mom made all sorts of my favorite things. Something she always has done when I wasn't feeling well. I completely caved. Add tension between myself and my DS, I was also stress eating. I am up 6 pounds, and I am not beating myself up about it. I have the tools to get back to where I was before and beyond. I am ready mentally and physically to get back on program. :Pinkbounc Today is day 1 of induction.

Plan for the day:
Laundry.
Organize the house.
2 mile WATP

Meal plan:
B: Cheese and greaan tea.
L: Salad.
D: Hamburgers,salad, green beans.

I'm going to make my way through everyone's journal's throughout the day.
Take care,
Beth

Morning Beth! I think everyone slipped up a bit over the holidays but you sound like you have a good plan to get back on track. Have a great day and take care of yourself!

Hi, Beth! I'm glad you're home safe and sound. I like the visual image of the vomiting toy store :p . I'm most impressed by your commitment to get back on track. . .that's what I'm talking about, Beth. You say it and you do it. The end. No excuses. Day 1 Induction. Period. You go, girl! :cool1: I'm going to take some of your strength with me to Applebees and to the movies today! I WILL stay on plan 'cause my friend Beth can!

Have a good day, princess: Beth--

Beth, so much good news here!! Your doc visit came with a good report, your holiday sounds wonderful, you're ready to get back on track - good for you!!

I also need to get back on track - I'll be hanging on your coat-tails as you climb back on the wagon. ::yes:: I haven't had a healthy eating morning but I'm going to have a healthy low-carb lunch! It's time to banish the junk food and be healthy again (and to watch some of this extra weight disappear, too)!

Have a wonderful day, dear princess: Beth!

Hi Beth,

I'm so glad to hear you had a good holiday. Don't worry about the extra pounds, they will disappear quickly as you are one of the most determined people I "know". Have a great day. :flower1:

Beth!! HI!!
Welcome home!! I am glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas and got a totally cool new present! Those digital picture frames are neat! Nice touch with the music - I didn't know you could do that. :)

You are feeling better and getting back on plan. That's the way to do it! I bet that 2 mile WATP will feel great. Don't forget a little nap, if your body still needs it. :)

Beth- Good for you - already back to induction!! :Pinkbounc You certainly are an inspiration to me. I had great plans to hit Curves on the way home, but then friends who we haven't seen in awhile called to invite us over for pizza and wings. Hopefully, I'll get back to Curves tomorrow evening! :moped: But I have promised myself to get rid of all the junk food from the house this weekend! :jumping4: I will be back to walking the straight and narrow no later than Monday (hopefully sooner).

Have a great evening Beth!

TTFN-

Hi Beth!

Welcome Home! I'm glad to hear that you all had a wonderful Christmas and I loved the comment about the toy store vomiting in your house! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Way to go with your plans to get back on track! I know you can do it, Beth!!! :cheer2:

Have a great Thursday!

Tracy

:flower1: Good morning, Beth! Have yourself a fine Thursday! :flower1:

How did Day #1 on Induction go? Are you ready for Day #2?

:cheer2: Go, Beth, go! :cheer2:

Erin

Hi All,

I am done 2with Day 1 of induction. Only 13 more to go.

I did do the 2 mile WATP. I have lost all my conditioning. I am starting from scratch again. I don't have any energy reserve at the moment, so I will have to start out slowly. I find this incredibly frustrating, but what can I do? :confused3

Today my parents are coming over. We're doing lunch and going shopping. It will be good for Katie to have some individual Mimi and Papa time. I will do the 2 mile WATP again tonight. I also have to finish up laundry. I still have towels and bedding to do.

Meal plan:
B:scrambled egg, cheese and sausage patty, tea.
L:Chicken ceasar salad.
S: cheese cubes.
D:Omelet and salad.
I am hoping to drink 3.5 l of water.

I need to get going. My parents will be here in 1 hour, and I haven't even showered. I'll try to get to journals later today.
Beth

Hi Beth,

Please don't push your body too hard. You will be back in the exercise groove soon! :cool1:

Your day sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you and Katie have a great time! :Pinkbounc

Take care,
Tracy

P.S. Quick question: I am making the Kahlua cookies tomorrow. Do you think it would alter the recipe too much if I don't use the white chocolate morsals and substitute it with more of the milk chocolate morsals? I can't find any anywhere! Thanks!

Slow and steady wins the race - slow and steady wins the race - slow and steady wins the race.

Don't push yourself to hard so that you burn yourself out. Maybe only do 1 mile of that 2 mile tape (I have it to - I know how it is set up ;) ). Yeah for you on induction - I can never master that part.

~Amanda

Beth,

Hope you have a nice day today. Don't worry about the exercise/reconditioning. You have been ill and need to start at it slowly. I repeat slowly. Reread through some of your journal when you were sick before. You felt the same way and quickly got right back into the groove. :cool1: Probably quicker than you should have and much quicker than I would have. Be kind to yourself ok? You deserve the best and to be healthy at the same time. Don't push it. :grouphug: :flower1:

Beth, I know it's frustrating but try not to be too down on yourself.

Just take it one workout at a time and you'll get back to where you were real soon.

I hope you and Katie had a nice time with your parents today. :)

Good morning Beth and Happy New Year!

My prayer for you and your family in 2005 is that you have an amazing year filled with God's blessings. I know that 2004 was a tough year, but the New Year is upon us and you have a trip to WDW to look forward too! Woohoo!

Have a wonderful day!

Tracy

P.S. I will be making those cookies today. :)
