Strictly Come Dancing 2011

yep agreed...Len was a bit of an ol' grump tonight:) Not sure about a 10 for Chelsee from Alesha, a tad over marked I thought. Holly's rumba was ok but def not my fav dance and think its difficult for anybody to get really good marks on that dance. Loved Harry tonight. Enjoy watching Russell as he is a great showman but def do not want him in the final. Think Audley is a gonna this week...he was dreadful:)

I haven't seen it yet, I'm hoping to watch it before the results show tonight ::yes::

I've just watched last nights show, and I really enjoyed it. I loved Harry and Chelsee's dances, and I think Audley & Russell should be in the bottom two

I agree, Len's was a right old grump ::yes::

New to strictly this season and well and truly hooked.

Have to watch it on my ipad on iplayer because my darling family refuse to let me have it on the tv. Devastated last night because it wasn't available on iplayer, which is a bit hit and miss on loading the latest programmes up, both the show and it takes two.

Was not upset to see Lulu go last week, but wondering who will be next. Seems like several at a similar level.

Phew ! I was a bit worried there with Anita being in the bottom two, but it was only fair for Audley to leave this week :thumbsup2

Yes the right person went last night.

Although Russell isn't very good at dancing he is a great entertainer so will draw votes.

Apart from Russell I don't know who else could have been in the bottom two, Robbie was much better last night, Anita was good and Alex's dance although technically not perfect was a lot of fun to watch. However the other 4 are much better dancers.

I'd like to see Harry, Jason and Chelsee in the final, but I think Holly is also a strong contender.

I agree Libby, as long as Harry, Jason and Chelsee make the final, I really don't mind in what order the others leave over the next month or so, as although Russell isn't good, I find him fun to watch :thumbsup2

I couldn't work out how Len gave anita a higher score than Harry (I think i'm right about that, was only half watchin!!) Harry's was far superior IMHO, though I do love anita. x

So, what did you think of last nights show from Wembley ? I loved the Queen tribute opening, and once again Chelsee was my favourite, with Harry close behind (though he didn't have much hip action). It was a good show, but at times I thought the dancers rushed around such a large space

Loved Russell being 'shot' out of a cannon :rotfl2::rotfl2: but in fairness he really should go next, though no doubt there could be a shock in the bottom two tonight ~ can't wait :)

I didn't like last night's show. Maybe I was too tired to enjoy it but I felt it lacked atmosphere. Maybe I was a tad sad as I had enjoyed the 1980s so much - I was 18 in 1980 and living in Kidderminster then I left home to go to Polytechnic, met my husband, bought our flat, was working in London, quite the DINKYs before settling and starting our family in 1990.

I did enjoy the Queen opening but not the woman on ribbons - I wanted to se more of the dancers (Anton in zebra striped trousers!!??)

I enjoyed Chelsee, Harry, Alex and Jason (shame he wenr wrong).
Felt Holly was lacking (loved the Artem and Brendan clip on ITT last week).
Russell was just Russell.
I think Anita and Robbie will end up in the bottom two.

I hated it! Thought the venue was far to big and the camera work awful! I hope they don't do it from there next year, lets stick to the bbc studio and Blackpool ballroom. The camera shots were too far away a lot of the time and then they zoomed too far in and you only saw a head and shoulder shot or a feet shot, all while swirling around. Why they can't keep to a full body shot so we can all see the whole dance, what their feet and hands are doing all at the same time I don't know...:confused3 I lost interest big time during this show. But on that note I do believe its time for Russell to leave before some of the really good ones are eliminated.

Another very enjoyable weekend.

I actually voted this week. :thumbsup2 Whatever difference my one phone call will make. I'm sure there are fans that just dial and redial until the phonelines close.

They were all very good but Harry, Chelsee and Jason are head and shoulders above everyone else.

Holly seems to have lost her spark of promise and combine that with Artem's liking of doing something just a bit unexpected then I'm not surprised she keeps ending up in the bottom two.

James is annoying me with his "I am better than the judges" attitude.

Robbie seems to be going all out for entertaining to compensate for not being quite so accurate with the steps.

Sad to see Anita go as I enjoyed her dance but I think the days are numbered for all but the top three now.

I do wish they hadn't done away with the dance off as it often helped a technically better dancer stay in over a popular but not so good celebrity. (I don't think it would have made any difference this week though.)

Looking forward to movie night. popcorn::

P.S. I loved Anton and Erin tonight.

oh it was so good to get back to the BBC studio!
I think that the right person went this week and hopefully it should be Robbie next. I can't decide who I want to win but at the moment its Harry, Chelsee then Jason. But it does change from week to week, although its always between the same three. Movie week should be fun and Jasons acting skills may put him ahead of Chelsee. LOVE Anton and Erin.:)

Another great show this weekend, and it was so good to be back in the studio. Once again Harry and Chelsee didn't disappoint, and the right person left. I really don't mind who leaves and in which order over the next few weeks as long as Harry and Chelsee are in the final :thumbsup2

Loved the swingathon too, and Anton and Erin were fantastic to watch

Roll on next weekend ::yes::

I enjoyed this weeks show, Harry was my favourite by a mile this week. I liked Chelsee and Jason's dance too. There is just something about Holly that Ican't warm to. :confused3 I was sad to see Anita go as she has such a warm personality but it was probably the right choice, would rather have seen Robbie go first, then Anita! Looking forward to next week's show. x

What a great show it was last night, I loved the Movie theme and I thought everyone upped their performances. I know both Jason and Holly were very good last night, but it's still Harry and Chelsee that are brilliant for me.

I was so worried when I heard that Harry was doing the rumba, I hate that dance, but he did so well, for the first time ever I didn't see a male celebrity look awkward ::yes::

I hope that Alex and Robbie remain in the bottom two, and I don't mind who leaves out of the two of them

Roll on the results show tonight :dance3:

Mandy, you just voiced ALL my sentiments exactly! I really loved the pro's dance at the start of the show too!

Pam

Yes I thought Harry did well in the Rumba but having said that I didn't enjoy it as much as Chelsee or Jason. I absolutely LOVED Jason's routine. I also don't mind who goes out of Robbie or Alex or even Holly really. The final MUST have Jason, Harry and Chelsee in it. :)

Harry's rumba was great as far as rumbas go - still don't think it is a dance. :)

Everyone is so good now but the golden trio - Harry, Jason and Chelsee MUST be in the final or I'll sulk!

I've had enough of Holly now - perhaps it's because this is the first programme that I've seen her in but she doesn't seem to have any personality at all. (DD says she reminds her of Lisa Snowdon & I didn't warm to her either :confused3)

Are there going to be 4 in the final - we seem to be running out of weeks to get them down to 3?

I've just checked out the Strictly Come Dancing website Libby and it says for next Sunday's result show ..

Two couples bid farewell to the competition ahead of the grand final in Blackpool
