Help me with pins.
I am from the uk,will be going to wdw soon,have bought a few pins,nothing special really,but am starting to get bitten by the pin collecting bug.
What is this AP pin and lanyard,what is a lanyard????where do i get it,i wont be there till nov 17th.will i miss it?????
Also i know there are zillions of pins to collect,have been on the dizpins site and my mind was blown away,can now see me spending all of hubbys visa card on pins,searching for all the limited ones etc.
Can anyone tell me a few good ones to get,not nessercarily valuble ones just interesting ones,and where is the best place to get them from?????

It can be very overwhelming. One way to keep youself under control is to find some inexpensive traders. The cast members have lanyards that they trade from. They must accept any Disney pin that they don't have on their lanyard. So......

If you have a car, go to Beltz or The Disney Store Outlet (ask at the hotel for direction). They will have leftover pins at clearance ($3-4) that you can trade with. That way you can join in for a little bit less money, that means twice as many pins!!!! LOL

Hi Sarah...

I know just how you feel..too many pins not enough money..Once you figure out which
way you want to go, it isn't too bad. pick a favorite, or a theme. and start w/ that..

and when you arrive at WDW, come see us at our pin meet. every Friday night from 7 pm to 11 pm...or longer, a
group of us get together and meet to trade, and visit. be have newbies, and oldersters...(not in age, in collecting age)
There are a lot of us from the Disboards, myself, Raulandpinboy, ismeetoo, and our hostess w/ the mostess, Pintrader

we also have a lot of people from out of town, CA, Japan, and England.. We meet at the Contemporary Hotel on the 4th
floor by the pin station, we bring our families, and we have a great time, there will be a lot of people that have gone
through the same thing you are right now, and can help, it's like - been there, done that-

So come and join us, love to have you, just make your self know to one of us, and we will make you feel welcome...

post just before you leave, and we will be looking for you..
