I asked on another thread about WCC or Ohana's and nobody seemed that thrilled with either one for Xmas.

Where would you recommend for xmas night???? I call in the morning and I want it to be a good dinner.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

We have been to wdw for xmas week the last four years. we have made a point of not going to any park on xmas day...too crazy. 2005, we had breakfast (late 10:30am) at BOMA and then went to DTD for a movie and had xmas dinner at Artist Point in WL, it was beautiful and put you in the xmas spirit. 2006 we went to CP for xmas eve with dinner in Japan, then xmas day had breakfast at 1900PF(great food and atmosphere) and shopped at DTD and then very late dinner at CG (9:15pm) but got there early enought to see Wishes!-great food and wonderful view of MK. Last year we went back to 1900PF for breakfast, then went to ICE! at Gaylord Palms Hotel and dinner at Boma. Great all 3 times and didn't miss the craziness of the parts for the holiday. We miss xmas this year, but wil be doing NYE and day(we will be at epcot or DHS for NYE).

I hear that Artist Point (WL) is pretty amazing for Xmas dinner, but I've never been. I plan to go to MK this xmas and we are eating breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at CRT. Xmas eve we are doing candlelight processional and Le Cellier (epcot). I think any of those places would make a nice xmas dinner! I have heard people say stay out of the park (like above post), but I spent last NYE at MK and it wasn't so bad (and it hit capacity)!

The key to staying sane (and keeping everyone happy) is to have 2 sit down meals if possible (even if they have to be at odd times). This gives everyone much needed rest time. I had a blast and the crowd is in such a festive mood you will have fun with it! We kept running into the same family while taking pics - it was fun, and an experience I won't ever forget! So if you want to go to the park, do so - you will have fun, even with the crowds!!!!

Besides, who goes to Disney at Christmas to avoid the crowds? Come on! ;)

I think Artist Point is a good suggestion as well. We are having dinner at Flying Fish on the Boardwalk on Christmas.

Christmas 2005 we arrived Christmas Eve, Christmas Day we were at rope drop at MGM (the name at that time!), spent a lovely uncrowded morning there and had lunch at SciFi.

That night we had an ADR for our Family Christmas Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. This is not for everyone but we had ALOT of fun and the resort is SO beautiful and fascinating at Christmas.

The Prince Charming, Cinderella and Belle at this dinner were the best ever of our 3 trips.

I think resort dining for Christmas dinner is fun because you get to spend some time looking at all the decorations. GF had a chorus and handbell group in the Lobby while we waited for our table.

This year we may go (we have a room reserved but waiting on some health news with one of the children) and would like to try Narcoosee's at GF. We will be there before Christmas day actually but still want to see as many resorts as possible and the Osbourne Lights.

Take Care and whatever you choose I hope it's wonderful!

I decoded to eat Christmas dinner at Artist point. I know the food is good there and the hotel is really nice at Christmas so how can I lose. Good luck on whatever you decide. :santa:

!

I hope everything with your child turns out ok! In my family, I was (and still am) the child who had the major medical condition so your situation is not totally foreign to me. I will say a prayer for you and hope that you all get to go to Disney this year!
