Do the street vendors take disney dollars? I am curious because we are giving our kids disney dollars for this trip and I KNOW they will want to buy one of the light up things.
Could you let me know where Disney promised you didn't have to carry cash? I saw they said you can use the Magic Band to purchase food and merchandise but they didn't say no cash is needed anymore and they didn't say that you could purchase ALL food and ALL merchandise.
I know it's semantics and we don't carry a lot of cash with us as we have gift cards but each of us has a $20 bill somewhere on us, just in case. It's just my husband and me and I almost always go home with my $20.

That one made my afternoon.Even if they are outside vendors, I have no idea why they wouldn't want to take credit cards or the like anyway. How much more product do you think they'd sell? Even my technology inept mother finally got a smart phone card reader to take to craft shows. Her sales are so much better now!
It can be pretty slow and unreliable at times.
All of the MB sites and credit card machines are all hard wired to the servers for transmission. A street vendor does not have that luxury. Those vendors always only took cash. If you are a regular Disney family, would think you would have been aware of that.

Seriously?!
I couldn't even give a remote accurate guess to how much time we have spent in the parks and I didn't know they only took cash.
This knowledge has very little to do with being a "regular" Disney family.
