The only place I know where you can get strawberry shortcake is the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness. It is the best shortcake too!! Made with biscuits instead of cake....YUMMY!!!!

When we were at HDD in July, it was dried up old white cake with canned strawberries and bottled, dyed red syrup with a nickle sized drop of artificial whipped cream. It was HORRID! Loved HDD, but didn't care much for the food, especially the strawberry short cake.

Hollywood and Vine!! It has been on the desert buffet for years. It was there in Nov. 02 during my last trip. It is actually a whole cake and is sliced (very good). There are other wonderful deserts there too!

We did the HHD a month ago and the shortcake was wonderful!!! I mean really, really good. I just wish I wasn't so full from dinner.

We also had some at the Garden Grill. It was really good too!

HDD shortcake -

Hi to all,
Ok, enough is enough. Over the last few months I have been reading reviews of the strawberry shortcake served at the HDD, and they have ranged from zero to ten, with the better ones coming from people who have been there most recently. I know people have different opinions on things, but this wide range is getting me completely confused (doesn't really take too much). So, to you have been there very recently, please give us an updated opinion. My wife and I love an old fashioned strawberry shortcake; biscuits, not cake. We will be at the HDD July 7th, and are hoping for a most upbeat review. Thanks. Bob

It is delicious (and if I remember correctly, comes with ice cream). My kids still talk about it and my husband and I both loved it. We thought it was one of the best desserts we had at Disney. (Other good ones were the French Bakery and Creme Brulee at Le Cellier).

The Dolphin Fountain in the Dolphin Resort has a great Strawberry Shortcake Sundae! Delicious!!!

We were at the Hoop Dee Doo less than 2 weeks ago and the Strawberry Shortcake was REALLY GOOD! It was the only part of the "All you Care to Eat" Buffet that I could have definitely asked more of!

Man, I feel really ripped off!!! Everyone is raving about the Strawberry shortcake at HDD. Please describe what you were served. Ours was NOT a biscuit-type shortcake with fresh berries. Ours was stale white cake with canned berries and foul red-colored syrup. It was a square piece of cake - like you used to get in the school cafeteria.

They used to have it at that little fruit stand/shop as you come off of Goofy's Barnstormer in Toontown at MK.
Not sure if they still have it.
