Straw market and hairbraiding

Should I plan to do these activities in Nassau or just wait until Castaway Cay? Are the prices any different?

I've been to straw market in Nassau before, but my dd's have not. I think they'd love to get a few braids as well.

I hear that sometimes the Castaway Cay day is cancelled due to weather. We're sailing June 24th. I'm worried about skipping straw market and hairbraids in Nassau only to have Castaway Cay trip cancelled.

They also offer braiding of the hair on the ship....
strawmarket has moved to a new location ... dont know how long it has been since your last trip there still walking distance from the ship.... probably get it done in Nassau for less than on the ship or the island.... ???

It's the same price. Plus Ship or CC is safer. Have heard of extra critters left in the hair!LOL

My DD had her's done in Nassau with success! It cost $80.00 for a full head of corn rows!

Corn rows are $2.00
Braids are $1.00

I would definitely do it on board or on CC. Look in your navigator the first night to verify what time the sign ups are at.

Generally, the are at 5:30pm outside of the gift shops. My niece got hers done the 1st night at 10. This is a little late (we had late seating) but she enjoyed it the entire time. Also, she was not bothered when we went into Nassau.
