Stranger Facebook Friend request

years ago when I finally got the internet at home (think 95-96) I was on a chat room a lot.. I was young and stupid gave people my real name and address.. thought nothing about it back then! Well last year I got a request on facebook from this same guy about 3 times finally i asked if I knew him well it was one of the guys I use to chat with 10+ years ago!! How he remembered my name (and how to spell it) I dont know! Thankfully he wasn't a serial killer but a nice married man now with kids who just wanted to see how I was doing...

Oh my! PLEASE be careful. There are married stalkers and serial killers and this story makes me nervous. They are always nice guys...

Well i'm a little older to know better NOW! I was 15 the internet was pretty new, parents were dumb about this kind of stuff... it caught up with me 16 yrs later.. dh said I must have made one heck of an impression on him since he remembered me 16 yrs later! I had no idea who he was so I guess he didn't make that good of an impression on me Thankfully he's totally harmless.... he has a wife 2 boys and a new baby girl and lives VERY far away
