Well yesterday I was letting my dog out and looked out my kitchen window only to see my neighbors doing laundry... this might not sound so strange... but they actually brought the washer outside and were filling it with a hose :confused3 :laundy:

:confused3 :confused3 is right!:confused3 :confused3

Next they'll be setting up the still to make the next batch of moonshine.

My neighbor has this very long white string to mark his property from ours. When we came back from vacation, I noticed he added a purple string. Once in a while it droops. So he steps onto our property to tighten it because he doesn't want to step on his poison ivy which he won't get rid of.

I also took pictures of them cutting a car in half (in the rain) in their yard and then transporting it in a pickup truck that they just tow'd the car with. :confused3 :rolleyes1

My neighbor just had a huge rock moved in supposely to "give us privacy", in the front yard between her house and mine she could have planted trees, bushes, flowers but a huge rock, she's a nice lady but what an idiot. :scared:

We actually have a washing machine under our shed by our storage building. We run a water hose to it in the summer to wash our horse blankets in (definitely not bringing them in the house!)! :thumbsup2

(Nobody can see ours though!)

When we lived in our previous house, the neighbor down the street would vaccum the front lawn - I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself. Talk about clean freaks.

In nice weather, my neighbors sit on lawn chairs in their garage. It's really weird--they have a beautiful back yard with a deck that they never use. And it's not like they have a ton of neighbors stopping by--I'm usually the only one who stops by to say hello as I'm pulling into my garage right next to theirs. :confused3

Well that makes sense! but theirs is right on their walkway and they do not have horses or any other farm type animal. The thing is they have 2 LARGE garage's one is almost 2 times the size of my house.. the thing is HUUUGGEEEE why not put it in there? or even the smaller one... I thought I was seeing things. It was just very strange to see... did I mention its below freezing here??

There was a story on the news about a neighbor who tried to stop a lawn service worker from cutting his neighbor's grass. One neighbor shot the other and killed him. :sad2:

Here is the full story~ Dispute over lawn mowing blamed for Lakes murder

By Sallie James | South Florida Sun-Sentinel

When it came to his lawn, Lee Andrew Macon had strong feelings. So strong, detectives say, that when his neighbor tried to stop a lawn service worker from cutting it Thursday, Macon took out a gun and shot and killed his neighbor.

Macon, 49, is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Jerome Jackson, 51, who lives next door to Macon in the 3800 block of Northwest 28th Street. Jackson, shot during a struggle over the gun, died in the street in front of his house, deputies said.

"It seems senseless that somebody would lose their life over a property dispute or the height of the grass," said Broward Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles.

Deputies responding to a report of shots fired shortly before 10 a.m. arrived in the usually quiet neighborhood of East Gate Estates to find a wounded man lying on the ground in front of a peach-colored house at 3686 NW 28th St. A lawn service truck was parked in front and two lawn mowers were in the grass, the lawn only partially cut.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a lawn service worker was cutting Macon's lawn at that address when Jackson came out of his house and tried grabbing the lawn mower. Macon and Jackson began fighting, then Macon pulled a gun from the waistband of his pants and fired several shots, fatally wounding Jackson, Jachles said.

Deputies arriving at the scene carried the victim to the street, where he died, Jachles said.

They found Macon, along with a gun, inside his own house and took him into custody without incident, Jachles said. Records show Macon has a concealedweapons permit that expires in March 2011. He has no criminal history.

The neighborhood of neatly kept houses is home to an array of government officials, including Lauderdale Lakes City Commissioners Hazelle Rogers and Levoyd Williams, Lauderdale Lakes Mayor Samuel Brown, Broward County Commissioner Josephus Eggeletion and Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes.

Snipes and Rogers both arrived at the scene on Thursday, shocked by all the commotion.

"It's a very safe neighborhood, very quiet, very family-oriented," Rogers said, shaking her head as deputies and detectives swarmed the crime scene.

Neighbor Cathy Smith, 60, stood outside the yellow crime scene tape, watching the scene unfold with disbelief.

"There's been an ongoing feud. I don't know what they've been feuding about," Smith said. "It's a very nice neighborhood. We all pretty much take care of each other."

My neighbor took out the culvert from the end of his driveway and from under the middle of the driveway. He did this before we moved in. Well, when it rains heavily his yard becomes a lake and backs up into our yard (we are on 1 1/2 acres). So a big rain came and it was backing up so my DH went over and told him he needed to clear out debris and unclog his culvert that's when we found out he removed them. Said he couldn't figure out why previous people had buried metal in the yard.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: and can't figure out why his driveway keeps washing away in the rain.:lmao: :lmao:

The temperatures should do away with the washer before too long. It will probably freeze up. Do you think they'll notice? :lmao:

Well that's one way to keep from tracking grass clippings into your house!:rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Are there also a bunch of cars on cement blocks in the yard, and a rusted out refrigerator on the front porch???

Our neighbors put gas in their cars - EVERYDAY - with a 5 gallon gas can. The husband drives a newer style Toyota wagon - and he wrenched the gas compartment lid off (all you see is the gas cap). I'm assuming this was because it was on a hinge making it difficult for him to get the gas from the can into the tank. It is so odd to see his wife out there in her dress (she always wears a dress) filling up the tank of her mini-van with a 5 gallon gas can. The husband works at a Tire Service Center - I'm wondering if it's a "perk" of the job??!!

He also will tote bucket after bucket of steaming hot water to throw on his car on icy mornings! :scared:

This same neighbor has a sump pump in his basement - and constantly puts the drain hose on OUR PROPERTY!

He also planted a nice line of little pine trees to make a separation between their yard and ours - a very nice thing to have - although he doesn't have a weed eater - so most of the time there is grass growing around the trunks - until I beg my DH to trim them because it looks so bad!

It doesn't help that he doesn't speak English!
