Strange thing

Has anyone noticed that once you post and are taken back to your post that if you get back to the main DCL board by the pull down menu at the bottom of the screen you get taken to the DVC board not the DCL board? at first I thought I picked the wrong one but it has now happened 3 times and I know I was watching carefully the last 2 times. Not a big deal, I just noticed and was just wondering if anyone else had. I always seem to find the strange stuff.

No, I hadn't noticed that. I always click on "Disney Cruise Line Forum" at the <b><i>top</i></b> of the page after I've posted.

That's been happening to me all day. It has happened prior to today. Use the bar on top, it will bring you back to the right place.

Here is what I do AFTER posting a reply and the thread comes up with my reply on it... (btw - I'm using MS Internet Explorer (boo hiss)).

1) Click the down arrow that is just to the right of the Back button (it's really 2 buttons depending upon where you click)
2) Select the first item in the drop down list that says: "The DIS Discussion Forums - Disney Crui" (that's all that fits on my screen) - It's usually the 4th item in the list. This returns you to the same point in the main cruise page where you were when you opened up the thread and responded.
3) This technique makes it really nice if you are responding to items on page 2, 3, 4 or more (because you do not have to return to that particular page).
4) The down side to this is that sometimes I go back into the same thread that I just responded to because it still looks interesting to me (short memory span )

Thank you for bringing this up! When I jump from board to board I often have clicked on DCL Discussion only to wind up on the DVC boards. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Thats because there are several incorrect links on this web site. That means that even though it says you clicking to go to a specific board, it was not correctly linked to that board when the link was created. For example, if you're on the "Meet and Greet" page then click at the bottom to come back here, it will always take you to the DVC board page. Not a big deal, though, and I realize how hard it is to maintain and set up a web site like this. I'm not complaining, just explaining!
